isclaimer: Mods if I have placed this in the wrong forum please correct my mistake. Thank you ahead of time.

This article is very short and does not have much info on this possible event.
So the short version is this. On Tuesday there was an exercise conducted by the US strategic air defense. A B-52 was supposedly instructed to release a nuclear payload off the east coast. An individual with the name Matt Cawby intercepted the message.

So a few questions that came to mind about this supposed event are these.
1. With how much spending the US does for our military how is a civ able to pickup such an order?
2. Why is an exercise carrying anything nuclear?
3. If this story is true then we have a serious problem on our hands.(not really a question)

So ATS.....Does this sit well in the doom porn stack?
And do you believe this may have actually occurred?

The link will direct you to RT for the article.

Also please enjoy your Saturday

#1: I seriously doubt this person intercepted and decrypted a message to launch.

#2: I do not doubt such messages are sent during an exercise, and there will be a requirement for a confirmation that I did not see mentioned.

#3: train the way you fight, the buff is regularly loaded for bear during exercises, I don't recall launching any with live nukes so most likely it was just the crew going through the motions with no payload, or a non-nuke payload.

#4: Russia, did they flip out.. no, no nukes on board or the amateur radio jockey lied.

#5: Why would they broadcast something like that in the clear?

I’ve never been in the military so I don’t know how these types of exercises are handled.
Although I am the “commander and chief” of my kitty army.
Currently we are going through hand to hand combat training. My dog is the drill Sargent and my turtle is my eye and ears. I can’t afford to be around at all times.
So I got this system set up and things are going pretty well.
Field combat exercises are on hold though due to the fact that it is frowned upon to attempt to have your animals attack anything. It’s not cool man.

If this was real...and it isn't...it wouldn't happen this way. Close maybe for training..but no.
