Are you referring to the shooting that occurred at the YouTube headquarters a couple months ago?

No there was one during a live news broadcast from a tv studio. Last year, year before.

Shep Smith just reported that one of the victims texted “There is nothing more terrifying than being under a desk and hearing people getting shot, and then the shooter reload”.

This guy admitted he wasn't in the building when he started tweeting. He wasn't under his desk, he did not hear the perp reload.

Figures...and the media wonders why they get bashed.

The question then would be if this a provocation on their part or if they think this guy is a MAGA man acting on fake news like some here.

We're still waiting on the truth which may be none of the above.

The scary thing is that too many may not even care just like with the photo of the kids in cages.

that's the problem, people don't want the truth they want to direct their anger at something rather than try to work for a solution to whatever it is that's making them angry

Exactly. You know they're salivating right now hoping the motive was political so they can blame Trump. And if it was just a crime of passion, they're gonna blame Trump anyway. The facts are irrelevant.

He quickly deleted the tweet....

“This is what happens when @realDonaldTrump calls journalists the enemy of the people,” Cox tweeted following the shooting. “Blood is on your hands, Mr. President. Save your thoughts and prayers for your empty soul.”

Gee what a total shocker, a journalist spreading fake news.

I can usually connect the dots. This time...help? Are you saying yesterday he was in a 22 hour standoff, then hospitalized, then escaped or posted bond, then today did this in retaliation?

patch.com... if this is the same person it would seem he should have been banned from gun ownership

Arnold, MD — An Annapolis man who allegedly charged police with a knife is under guard at a hospital on theft charges. Anne Arundel County Police received a report of man carrying a knife who was acting in a "disorderly" manner about 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Kinloch Circle in Arnold. While en route to the call, police determined the car driven by Samuel Irvin Miller, 34, of 665 Red Cedar Road in Annapolis, was stolen that morning from the Bank of America at 491 Jumpers Hole Road.

Nah, that's another crazed person. He was apparently suicidal and barricaded in for a 22 hour standoff with the police. That was 4 months ago. Here's an article about that in the Capital Gazette, written by Phil Davis, the reporter whose tweets about today's mass shooting I excerpted earlier:

Annapolis-area man held after violent standoff had a previous confrontation with police

In the incident Tuesday, police said Miller called the department, saying he had taken illegal drugs and was home alone. He barricaded himself inside the house on Red Cedar Road and shot at responding police officers. None were injured and officers did not return fire, the department said.
