Donald Trump is Proving Too Stupid to be President
Donald Trump Isn't Fit to be President
The Experts Were Right: Trump Isn't Fit to be President

I could post another 3, followed by 6 then by 12 more of these varies topics indicating Trumps mental capacity, direction and purpose. However, suffice it to say that the point should be clear. There are many, even on this site, that think very ill of the president and there are even more within positions of power, such as the democrats and independent politicians.

So.....what have they built? If...IF what is clamored all over the wide ranging interwebs has a dash of truth, then why couldn't they take this "titan of ego' down?

Still, to this day there is not being promoted a platform that would draw in more voters. Building a movement on hashtags and hate will go far, there is no doubt....but not far enough. Not everyone who goes to the ballot box takes pop culture mumbo jumbo into credence nor do they fall for the appeals to emotion based on rhetoric or disinformation.

Dems and to an effect Indi's had (have) literally one job....to beat Trump. When I see the superiority complexes, the virtue signaling, the crying and bawling and last but not least, the claim of intelligence...that is of course vastly above anything Trump has.....I'm left to wonder with all that claim to fame, you still couldn't beat him.

Disclaimer. Not a raa-raa Trump thread. It's an appeal to take a look in the mirror. Surely they can build something better that Trump has......right?

We could look at their current platform.

Open borders.

Higher taxes.

More crime.

More Obamacare.

Impeach the guy trying to fix it.

Sorry, at this point all I can think of is that it is a platform chock full of stupid.

With a lot of hatred, civil disobedience and demonizing thrown into the fire just because.

The Democratic party has, over the last two years, made independents shudder in horror and look for other avenues.

It is the death throes of the Progressive agenda.

Thrown out there every day, every hour, every minute, every second for the whole world to see, televised by news hacks with shiny teeth and an attitude. That's where I am at. I didn't vote for the guy. Sure as hell will next time.

Amazing times!

ETA.... S&F.

True!!!

All good additions to the growing list of "WTF were you thinking of running on to get actual votes?"

I have voted on both sides of the aisle my whole life, depending on the candidate.

Now?

Democrats have LITERALLY given me no choice.

There was a time not too long ago when they had a super-majority in the house, the senate and a president that would rubber stamp the laws they could have done.

Did they fix the economy? No.

Did they fix the immigration problem? Not at all.

Did they stop the wars? No.

Did they address the Veteran suicide rate, the homeless problem, the deficit, ANYTHING?

They passed Obamacare... which hurt me bad financially and raised my taxes.

And NOW this is all Trump's fault?

Um... just... No.

The opposition is on an ego trip that's all. They've got no more cards in their deck so they're hitting below the belt. I could name a few ex Presidents that would warrant the title though.

That horrible excuse for a candidate, Hillary, drew in more voters with the Democrat's platform. The electoral college is the key, not simply having "more voters".

Why not? Building a movement on hashtags and hate is exactly what Trump did, and he won the election.

Ya don't need "everyone". Ya just need enough to win. Pop culture mumbo jumbo, and appeals to emotion based on rhetoric and disinformation have already proven to be enough to reach that goal.

At this point the real question is... "Can anyone out-Trump Trump?", because everything you describe above was his highly effective playbook to win the 2016 election.

We all would like these hypocrites to take a glimpse into the mirror... but they won't.

Why, you ask... well because there is so much blame to go around.... by George, it couldn't be their incompetence to blame!!!

Nope, it was Russia, it was Comey, it was Fake News, it was Uneducated Deplorables. Tomorrow they'll move the goalposts again, then again, then again...

It kills me that people continue to expect the left to come to their senses. Don't hold your collective breath!!!

Was it because of the platform or simply because she wasn't Trump? It's the same argument that drove folks that didn't like HRC.

Not alone. There are many policies and promises including any sort of media following. Direction as well.

Many policies and promises? Like what? What campaign "policies and promises" weren't rooted in building a movement on hashtags, hate, pop culture mumbo jumbo, and/or appeals to emotion based on rhetoric and disinformation?

Pick your talking point. Wall, economic, swamp etc etc. All these didn't exist only in those spheres.

Not "only" within those spheres, eh?

Interesting qualifier.

So are you admitting that they did exist in those spheres, or can you point to some specific (out of the "many") campaign "policies and promises" that weren't rooted in building a movement on hashtags, hate, pop culture mumbo jumbo, and/or appeals to emotion based on rhetoric and disinformation?

Except he had a plan and he's working hard to implement it unlike pretty much every other candidate in my lifetime so your rhetoric kind of falls apart there.

I think I've done alright for having come here as a refugee, with nothing but my pool queue and some clothes.

I can only imagine the life I would have had if I started with $200 million and all the right connections already in place. I'd own the Moon by now.

Having strong opinions and speaking bluntly may be uncouth and certainly not politically correct, but calling it hate is the whole reason the DNC has painted itself into their self-righteous little corner. Now there's no way out.

No, that is absolutely not a sure thing.

Not even close.

As for the premise of your OP, it's just plain silly--your WaPo article is over a year old and uses his firing of Comey as a way to substantiate how he's not fit to be president. That was obviously a good decisions from what we know now.

Your USNews article cites a poll from fall of 2017--a poll of average people, who are hardly experts on the fitness and intelligence of a president. In fact, that reality that someone cites such a thing as "proof" of a problem with the POTUS' fitness for office might be considered unintelligent.

The HuffPo article is no better than the others, focusing on trivial things, as if Obama mistakenly saying that he'd visited 58 states somehow indicated he's a dumbass fool.

Let's not sink to these ridiculous levels. The "job" of the voter is not to defeat the guy that you may not like, it's to individually decide who they think is best and to vote that way. But even then, as you know, the voters are an indirect way to the presidency, which is voted on by the electoral college.

But, yes--the POTUS is the fool in all of this.

It's more of an affront thing with these people. We were told for years only a politician can make it in politics and only liberals make good policies. Then came Trump. A product of the private sector, capitalism, and patriarchy.

All things your typical collage education moron perceives as bad. Yet the Trump presidency is showing those 3 things are what build and protect nations.

Sorry leftists and socialists ypur ideology is not as grand as you once thought.

For the Dems to continue trying to appeal to the young vote is essentially suicide for the party. There are fewer and fewer young people.

I also think that until we fix the gerrymandering done by the GOP, the hope of actually having a 2 party system is dying more and more.

That said...it doesn't matter. We don't have a 2 party system.
