You mean "Reign with Impunity".

No, I did not. Perhaps that is your perspective, it is not mine.
How are they expected to be oversight for the legislative branch and the executive branch if they are not independent?

If I face consequences for my decisions than everyone else should too.

Seems this is more about you than the actual op.

good day!

Your and my perspective on anything is irrelevant when we have the SC having the final say on everything.

That is what they are there for.
What do you want? Mob rule and referendums for every case???

Any chance Trey Gowdy gets consideration for this?

This is super great news! Finally we can get rid of all the awful crap that was ruining America, like:

1.) complete roll-back of abortion and women's health rights in general
2.) reversal of non-heterosexual rights and protections
3.) anything related to protecting the environment and/or limiting climate change
4.) further entrenching private prisons and detainment without due process
5.) any Net Neutrality cases will be automatic wins for big telcoms basically forever
6.) states will be free to limit voting however they see fit for at least a generation (no more pesky minorities voting)
7.) workers rights are gone (people are assets of the company to be used as the company see's fit)
8.) consumer rights are gone

So much winning I can't help but think we're headed for the promised land folks!

I’d suggest moving to Canada or Venezuela(Bernie said it was the last place on earth to achieve the American dream)

Term limits would open up far more opportunity for corruption. Bad idea.

I disagree.

Term limits prevent corruption.

Allowing them to reign with impunity makes it easy to buy 1 guy and keep him for life thru blackmail.

It works the same with politicians holding office. Shorter term limits = less corruption. The reason Washington is so corrupt is because we have too many lifers in there.

Sounds like yall have become the monster that you hated a few years ago.

Once in power the corruption sets in absolutely.
Now yall are overjoyed to push everyone around and be the big boss that makes the rules.

This is basically Bush or Obama all over again.
Good work ruining something that could have turned out half-way decently guys.

It was your mindless cult-like mentality and control-freak attitudes that did it.

Overturning Roe vs Wade would a good thing for America - probably the very best thing that could happen.
Ending all talk of the hoax of man-made climate change would be great.
Rolling back some rights for non-heterosexuals would be a good thing. A marriage should be between 1 man and 1 woman.
Stopping illegal aliens voting would be excellent.

The rest - meh, seems a bit dramatic as opposed to the common sense of the above 4.

Lol..

This is going to be hysterical to watch liberals triggered across the country...

Should’ve run ANYONE but Hillary...too bad the DNC rigged the primary election for her because Bernie had a better chance against Trump than Hillary...

Man oh man, the 2016 election is the gft that keeps giving...

-Chris

If they're (DNC) smart, they'll see this as an opportunity and use it as a hot topic to bait in more votes. They'll most like deny any of Trumps nominations until 2020 or so.

And how will they do that?
Will the dems take the senate in nov?

How will they do that? The 60 vote rule has been removed for SC nominations.
Their only chance was to hope that no one retired before the midterms and that they won the Senate (which is a very long shot anyway).
