I don't like assholes in general, and yes, my side has them too. I just don't see this from anyone but progressives, and it has been going on since before the election. The arrogance is palpable, and hugely misguided. You aren't more intelligent because you have a different political bent.

No, I don't think I'm more intelligent because of my political leanings, I think I'm more intelligent because I can read BS like this and immediately laugh out loud because i'm able to instantly recognize the lie.

Only a tool would believe what you've just typed.

I'll quote you...

You seriously need to develop a mind of your own and stop quoting supposed intelligent people.

Do I seem smart now?

Oh please ... I'm not going to get between you and Introvert ... but you, yourself and MAANY others here deploy a "everyone I don't agree with is either illiterate, illogical, or a stupid propagandist" tactic.

Physician, heal thyself.

You are entitled to that opinion but I heartily disagree. I respond to specific statements and continue to do so until the person I am debating with starts resorting to name calling, nay saying, etc. At that point I feel justified in more general comments as their behavior has degraded to that level.

If the statement is illogical or stupid I will say so and point out why. If it is the same rhetoric I hear on a dozen other websites I frequent I say so. If it is a unique statement that someone actually devoted some thought to I will weigh it based on its own merits. If it has none, I will say so. None of that makes me a propagandist. On a different thread someone just pointed out that I was in fact wrong on something I said. I didn't accuse him of being an illiterate propagandist. I thanked him for pointing out my error. How do you reconcile that with your statement about me?

Over time, I and many others, have come to expect certain responses from certain members on certain topics. If the first post I see from one of these people is just a continuation of the last debate on the last thread of the same nature there isn't much point in starting at the beginning is there?

Some of the people in question will rail against you for having nothing but anecdotal evidence while completely missing the fact that all they have is an opinion about - anecdotal evidence. I ask you - which is worse?

Do you not see how some conservatives act?
Just like some of the libs

Some assholes on both sides so why won't you acknowledge that?

I have seen some on the conservative side. I freely admit that. However, on this thread the topic is unhinged on the left and whataboutism isn't part of it.

And though I have seen some horrible behavior from those on the right, I very honestly believe the percentage of the right who behave that way is in the 10% range where the percentage on the left is in the 60% range. The media bears that out as well. Think about some of the protests that have been shown live-stream. The right is usually pretty well behaved. Not a lot of burning liquor stores and overturned police cars there... Just saying....

This is a textbook response from you.

1) pick one word and make it about that rather than address the obvious topic.
2) Bring out the anecdotal card.
3) Attempt to elevate yourself above your opponent by implying his statement was rash and emotional.
4( Feign interest in a real debate where you must avoid ad-hom attacks but never quite get there.
5( Quit when you get cornered in your own bs and pretend like you won. (coming soon...)

This is a textbook response from you.

Which textbook?

1) pick one word and make it about that rather than address the obvious topic.

One word can make a world of difference. Perhaps you should be more careful in the words you choose to use.

2) Bring out the anecdotal card.

Well, it was true. You used an anecdotal fallacy. It serves no purpose in this discussion.

3) Attempt to elevate yourself above your opponent by implying his statement was rash and emotional.

Well, it does seem that it was rash and emotional, much like what you just said. You made an irrelevant comment about me needing help and vagina hats. That has nothing to do with the topic and if you cannot properly discuss the issues without resorting to such idiocy, then you would be better served to learn to control your emotions. I think what I said was much nicer that what I truly think needs to be said.

Also, I said nothing in an "attempt to elevate" myself. Sounds as if you have an inferiority complex and that is not my problem.

4( Feign interest in a real debate where you must avoid ad-hom attacks but never quite get there.

I'd rather discuss the topic and the specifics. If you can't, move along.

Simple.

5( Quit when you get cornered in your own bs and pretend like you won. (coming soon...)

Oh. So now you're a mind reader? Can you see the future?

Ok. I think you are just talking out of your ass, but what's new huh?

You're not the first and will not be the last.

Did I win? Can I quit now and pretend I won...or is it not time yet?

Its the same thing over and over. Its your biography.
One word can make a difference. The ones you choose to focus on don't. Its just distraction.
And all you have is an opinion about anecdotal evidence.
And again, you attempt to elevate yourself by implying rash emotional behavior from your opponent...again.
Yes, you love to discuss the topic...this post demonstrates that perfectly. (not one word on topic)
I don't have to be a mind reader to see the past. Its always the same with you.

I'd rather discuss the topic and the specifics. If you can't, move along.

There it is, right there. Same as always. You try to assert a roll that you perceive as higher or better and suggesting your opponent leave if he can't compete. The problem is its just an artificial construct - you aren't better and you never will be.

Great video from the Daily Wire. I've become a big fan of Ben Shapiro and Dan Bongino lately they are the only 2 right wing political analyst I can stand to listen to. One of the things I really like is that they come with information and facts. It's not all rhetoric and feelings based perspectives. They are somewhat partisan but in today's world of incredibly fragmented social paradigms and extremism it's very hard not to take a somewhat partisan stance.

Great synopsis of how these people, let's not even call them the left let's call them corpratist shills who are afraid to end their financial gravy train by selling us out to corporations looking for major handouts and increased taxes.

If you haven't noticed there's been an increase in taxes along with an increase subsidization from government.

Daily Wire

"Voters have a clear choice in 2018, the Democrat Party is the party of obstruction and extreme rhetoric while the Republican Party is working to deliver a stronger economy for all Americans," RNC spokesman Steve Guest told The Daily Wire.

I agree. I totally support the Trump agenda and we've come to a point where our voice has been silenced in mainstream culture yet we are the majority. How did this happen? How did it become dangerous to have conservative values or more libertarian/ constitutionalist ideal sets?

I remember reading on here for years about how they are going to make constitutionalist and patriots look like terrorist and the bad guys. It seems as if that is becoming reality.

I don't know about the rest of you but I will be voting Republican in the midterms not because I like the Republicans but I am voting to support the Trump agenda. He's not perfect, I wish he would keep his mouth shut sometimes but this government is run by incompetent people who need to be managed/ fired/ outed and corporate shills.

Here you are stoking division ever further.

Perhaps a little trip down memory lane is in order...

Agreed.

Fox news is the propaganda arm of the right.

You guys don't really want to admit that though do you.

Sooner or later, the Leftists (calling themselves Dems) will be back in power and its going to get really ugly for Trumps America. They wont be content with winning politically. They are going to demand and legislate retribution against Trumps America. So rather than worrying about politcs while drowning in a demographic wave, I would suggest you do the best you can do to get prepared for the worst.

I have been trying to warn them that all the power they are giving to trump will be used against them once a dem potus is elected.
They don't listen. They foolishly believe that a dem will never become potus again.....

I recently started a post about the Agalarovs. No-one showed up. Why? Fox News is not covering them.

For me the economy and smaller government that doesn't think it can pick winners and losers is the primary objective.

Then why are you voting republican full ticket?
They picked coal and steel as the winners instead of letting the market decide.

I have done the same and to no effect. They really have the blinders on. I hoped the election of the latina socialist in NY would wake them up, but they seem to see that as a one off. It is not a one-off.

Holding people's jobs hostage, just got a little harder.

Nah, management can still fire you for no reason. Wage slavery is here to stay.

That statement is so broad and nonsensical, that I have no idea how to reply.

Pedo lovers vs naive dingbats. Think I'll side with the naive children if it comes down to it.

And so will everyone with a gun if it comes to civil war. Which means I picked the right side I say
