If they didn't agree to go neked, doubt they would have made the cover.

Next up, neked bearded ladies.

My wife is 46 and has put on a few pounds in our 24 years of marriage.
I still want to sex her up.

But...

I think it's wrong to promote an unhealthy lifestyle in a fitness magazine.
We shouldn't lower the standards or we will not have any standards.

Ashley Graham is not what I consider fat.

On topic: The reactions here in the US will be different when two guys sharing a kiss after winning a match are put on that cover.

ESPN just wanted an excuse to put two naked chicks on their cover.

You are assuming that a filled out figure is unhealthy and that Bulimia Barbie is the healthy one.

Just depends on genetics and not what Hollywood says.

(as an aside, I just found out the other day that Barbie was modeled from a German blowup sex doll. Too funny)

You don't know that.

For all you know it was the girls idea to pose that way.

It isn't a "fitness" magazine, though and how in the hell does showing a woman with natural curves "promote an unhealthy lifestyle" any more than, why split hair here, showing someone like Barry Bonds who was roided up or featuring a promiscuous athlete does? It's a sports magazine and, last I checked, it covers the National Football League. The NFL has athletes who look like this:

Y'know what, more power to 'em.

I'm a huge Sue Bird fan, have been since her UConn days. Megan Rapino, too, is someone I respect for her athletic ability.

That they're a couple isn't the first thing that comes to mind, but I wish 'em well.

so by not posting a twig of a woman they are promoting an unhealthy lifestyle?
so you saying she is unhealthy?

if so how do you know

this is not to address you

The Body Issue is an edition of ESPN The Magazine that features dozens of athletes in nude and semi-nude photographs, which is intended to rival the annual Swimsuit Issue from Sports Illustrated.

i knew nothing about the magazine but apparently naked is the entire point so there is that to people saying they only got the cover cause they got naked

Ashley Graham and fat do not, in any way, shape, or form, belong in the same sentence.

Good grief, what the heck were you looking at?

This I agree with. It also bothers me when I see some underweight bony chick on a fitness mag. It should be women with 6 pack abs and cut arms.

They arn't trying to sell fitness with the cover. Just trying to catch peoples attentions.

Seems silly and kind of insulting to me.

I don't have an issue so I likely shouldn't comment.
They have gorgeous and fit bodies, IMO. Decent athletes and the men that are in the issue aren't built too bad either.
I don't have a particular issue with who folks choose to love so...

I certainly see that some folks are offended.

In that case who cares who is on the cover.

Seeing human bodies that look like that is why I eat right and exercise regularly.

I am 38 and I still have the same hot abs that I had when I was 19.
