Stumbled up on this table and thought I'd share with the wider community.

Quite a whos who there. Only a small group, but quite a significant group too, Hillary, Weiner, Schumer, Biden.

Now this was quite a few years ago now, but going by a few threads I've seen lately it seems that what was said or done in the past means those words or actions are still relevant today, so using this logic, Trumps donations to a rogues gallery of left wing swamp creatures is still relevant and important.

Have a nice day.

He was a democrat once.

So was Reagan.

So...

Are people not allowed to evolve?

I could swear Obama said that once on why he changed....

I didn't think it was that ambiguous.

He addressed this very matter-of-factly during the debates, saying he gave to politicians for favors later on.

And then a republican, and then a democrat, and then a republican... and so on. He is whatever he needs to be at the time.

Donald Trump changed political parties at least five times: report

Whats to read other then diversifying his options? It even literally states that in the link.

Not to mention, abandoning to Dems to gain influences with the GOP for potential POTUS run, which he done successdully btw.

Not sure what your angle is other then the usual Trump bashing dead horse beating diddly dawd

If you had your headquarters in New York, and you wanted favors from politicians, why would you donate to Republicans? I'm guessing that list is mainly NY politicians for a reason.

ETA: He also has casinos and hotels in Massachusetts, Nevada, and Delaware.

Where have I bashed trump?

I'm not the one that post threads on ATS dragging up something from the past that someone said to show that they held a different opinion once upon a time.

I'm calling those sorts of threads out, like I said, it really wasn't that ambiguous I thought...

Must be too high brow for a lot of you guys....

They averaged about a thousand dollars a donation.

Fwiw.

Do those threads happen to have politicians running on platforms similar to what the Donald gets labeled Hitler for? The same ones he ran on and is administering, for which he gets admonished by the same people?

No one cares.

Trump knows how to help them expose themselves.

It works.

Keep 'em in their comfort zones and make sure they can afford to buy the rope.

Its a fantastic indictment of our campaign finance system, as Trump (like many others with business interests to protect and promote) was simply buying some favors.

He never struck me as an ideologue, and the donation amounts aren't really speaking to "frothing at the mouth" type mindsets.

But seeing how much money a little congressional favor buys is pretty interesting.

I went to your posts.
It took me 30 seconds to find where you have bashed Trump.

So political affiliation is tied to profit. Got it.

Is this news to anyone? I can't think of a single Trump voter I know that wasn't aware of this.

Well if the people in power are affiliated with a certain party, and you want favors from the people in power, you're not exactly gonna back a third party. Is this really going over your head? Because it's real simple...

It is when you live and own businesses in places that are mostly ruled by one party. If you want them to make laws favorable to your business, you have to kiss their ass and pretend you agree with their politics.
