Rip

I am a fan of things on the show, not necessarily the people. History and Discovery both tend to have shows about things I like watching the process of, however they both either force or allow the characters to make the show about them effectively ruining it for me.

Love the show, love everyone on it. The amount of knowledge these guys have blows my mind. I am sure some of it is scripted, but to do what they do, they know a lot.

I will miss the "Old Man"....

Sad news, I thought he was much older. Looks like he had a good run, worked hard and build a great business for his family.

He was the only one on that show that was palatable, so it's sad to hear he passed. Seemed like the one guy who was around because he enjoyed the chats and the actual merchandise rather than "Oh, let's make me and my knowledge the centerpiece of the show."

The show is pleasant and in many ways I enjoyed the cranky old man's distraction from the scripted sons. I thought he was older and i't's always sad to see someone has passed. It is sad for his family but he certainly seemed to live a full and colorful life. Thoughts to his family.
