Just keep worrying about brown people crossing the border, despite it being the lowest immigration in decades.

Keep your eyes focused on my left hand!

There are Mexican owned farms in my area of Arizona.

They have shut down and moved all their operation back to Mexico.

In the end, I think Mexico will benefit from Trump.

I would love to see proof of this, I too live in souther Arizona and I don't see what you are seeing.

Are you SW AZ?

This is an agricultural area. But, this kind of stuff is not gonna make headlines. Workers in the industry keep pretty quiet.

I am searching related articles, I will post as I find them.

time.com...

Of the more than 5,000 Americans surveyed by Pew, 80% say outsourcing hurts American workers. On the other hand, most Americans’ also think their job security has improved since the Great Recession — 60% believe it is “not at all likely” that they will lose their job or be laid off in the next 12 months.

after all, Harley peeps are probably gun-toting conservatives.

Yeah, "gun-totting conservatives", bikies and blokes currently going though a major mid-life crisis, are the typical "Harley peeps"... Kind of ironically, you could probably say the same thing about the typical hardcore Trump supporter.

How It Affects the Economy

Job outsourcing helps U.S. companies be more competitive in the global marketplace. It allows them to sell to foreign markets with overseas branches. They keep labor costs low by hiring in emerging markets with lower standards of living. That lowers prices on the goods they ship back to the United States.

The main negative effect of outsourcing is it increases U.S. unemployment. The 14 million outsourced jobs are almost double the 7.5 million unemployed Americans. If all those jobs returned, it would be enough to also hire the 5.7 million who are working part-time but would prefer full-time positions.

Why doesn't it matter if you are in the same area as me?

Proof? Like proving who's legal and who isn't among Mexican field workers?

This is not something you're gonna read in your local paper. But, my source is reliable.

Take it or leave it.

Even more ironic is that I was being sarcastic. I do own a gun, but I am not a bike guy. I got a Tbird thank you very much. And an MBA, and lots of other untypical attributes.

I expect we will see a lot more company shakeups within the next year due to the trade/tariff war.

As much as I don't like Trump I hope he is playing some 4d chess like his cult claims because if he isn't we are going to see another recession.

They can have them Harley was one of the first big companies with shiesty dealings to put other companies under. I say get rid of Harley and bring Indian brand back. Every time I have dug into Harley I see more bad than good. Harley has always operated as a middle class or higher company in my OPINION.

I'm 43 miles away from the border outside of a town called Ajo, lots of undocumented peeps and nobody is leaving.

I'm not reading it in the papers cause it's not happening like you claim.

You would want to hope he's playing some genius 4d chess game, because otherwise this all makes no sense... Why would he possibly be so adamant about having this trade war with other world powers and some of the US's closest allies, when the US economy is seemingly doing so damn well the way it is?

The only other logical scenario, is that he's got some insider info that a recession is inevitable and his gone all in, fighting to avoid it... like a cornered wild animal.

Of course, their is another more illogical explanation... which is that Trump is literally gambling with with Americas currently booming economy, purely to satisfy his own personal ego...

Annee joined 11 years ago and has over a decade of posting history.

Both left and right, although they disagree, nobody I have seen on the boards has ever accused her of BSing.

You only harm your own credibility by attempting to discredit her.

So your experience of the area is gospel but mine is not.

See where we are going without concrete proof of claims?

I'll ask again, do you have proof to back up your earlier claim other then "trust me"?
