So if you are ok with Drump doing it.... Does that mean you are ok with an Obama policy now?

No, Obama did not go far enough. Every illegal caught crossing should be detained and deported, with zero being released into the US.

Then we should set up refugee camps in South America where the crisis is ongoing.

Thay actually makes perfect sense. Australia uses a close by island to house refugees. You can set up processing point in their countries, once approved, get their papers going for citizenship. Then send them the the port of entry at the border where sponsor, foster parents, family who shows up and gets verified and takes them a new life in America.

Then enforce that border. This way, prevents millions of people risk their lives, prevent child trafficking, rape, drug smuggling, etc.. Family separation and these hilding areas would be vadtly reduced. Face it, illegal immigration has to be stopped. Theres nothing good about. Go to the port of entry and do it right.

Rather just reading "rightscoop" all the time you should try reading some counter point of views:

Boy that's really gonna put a dent in the false narrative they've been parroting for the past 2 weeks.

Every myth they make up gets unraveled. This level of delusion is dangerous. This is going to turn violent, and the media is partly responsible for driving these people into a frenzy with the non-stop bull#.

They want more James Hodgkinsons.

Rather than deflecting from facts/truth every single time your leftist narratives are debunked (which is 100% of the time, since all leftists lies 24/7) you should try reading actual news/having a logical thought.

Who cares about illegal criminal alien invaders when they 1) knowingly send their kids unaccompanied to OUR border 80+% of the time and 2) every single US citizen that is put in jail for breaking the law is separated from their kids

One big nothing-burger. Can't believe Trump wasted an executive order on non-Americans.

In most modern part of the world if you get caught illegally entering another country other than your own you are arrested no if no hands just arrested and put in jail . The reason these children were being separated was because their parents broke the law and got arrested. Now if let's say Simone a hard core crack addict gets caught robbing a liquor store and her babies are outside in her getaway car if she gets caught with the kids they will either be given to a family member or child protective services will be called to place child somewhere safe why you ask because no one wants to send a child to jail for crimes parent commits.
No matter what mms morons are spouting none of these children are being put in cages that is made up malarkey to incite Hollyweird celebrities.

Where's the part about separating children from their parents?

You know that what he said was that they thought that detaining families (together) was necessary. Right?

JOHNSON: Well, Chris, without a doubt the images and the reality from 2014 just like 2018 are not pretty. And so, we expanded family detention. We had then 34,000 beds for family detention, only 95 of 34,000 equipped to deal with families.

So, we extended it. I freely admit it was controversial. We believed it was necessary at the time.

You know that the OP is full of crap. Right? As usual. Right? I must say though, this is one of the larger pieces of crap. (Get out the plumbers' friend!)

So, where is that "false narrative?" Exactly? When was it said that the Obama administration did not detain illegal entries? Ever?

Where did Johnson say this?

xDHS Secretary Jeh Johnson (under the zer0bama Administration) explains in plain English why "they" had to detain and separate illegal immigrant families.

Anyone? Or did the OP make it up?

Where did all those singers from 'we are the world go' when you want em?

Besides retired, deceased, or hiding in Hillary's basement. Those children, are still starving, hello?!

Of course Obamas administration had to detain children and separate them from parents. Trump forced them to do it. If it wasn't for Trump's zero-tolerance policy they would never have done it.

Except they didn't.
The OP made it up.

Incorrect.
Jeh Johnson admitted it. No need to speculate. I saw and heard him say exactly that.

WALLACE: I understand that. Let's look -- because you mentioned it -- at how the Obama administration and you as secretary of homeland security handle this back in 2014 when there was also a spike in children, most of them unaccompanied coming across the border. You started jailing entire families. In some cases, not a lot, but in some, you separated children from their parents in these pictures that we are putting up, from 2014, show pictures of unaccompanied minors in effect jail situations. As you look back on that, did you handle it so well?

JOHNSON: Well, Chris, without a doubt the images and the reality from 2014 just like 2018 are not pretty. And so, we expanded family detention. We had then 34,000 beds for family detention, only 95 of 34,000 equipped to deal with families.

WHich part would you like me to explain to you?
You understand that the reason the Obama Administration expanded family detention is because they were separating kids, right - and didn't want to... just like Johnson says.

Which part is difficult?

Which part is difficult?
The part where he said anything about separating children from their families.

You seem to be conflating the detention of unaccompanied minors who crossed the border with separation of families. As did the OP.

Why not read the question he responded to?
Why else do you think he spoke about expanding family detention?
Think you were a bit too quick to jump, fella. Not the first time.
