Political affiliation will become another protected group, and we will lose a little more of our 1st amendment rights. Because millenials are freaking idiots and were never taught how to act.
really?.....you elected trump to office and you're blaming millenials for acting badly?....lol

I don't think we need to point fingers, I think we need to find ways not to, in fact. I don't think pointing fingers has ever solved a problem, from kindergarten to high government.
And Constitution IS key. We have to make sure it is obeyed, but we have to do so peacefully.
The government has a contingency plan for every situation, except peace... and peaceful protest. The only way to get anything done is to uphold the Constitution, through peaceful protest.
A shred of violence and we're on their terms.
I will politely disagree. Everyone seems to be so pampered and taught that anything that is said to them that might hurt their feelings is WRONG, it is time for some tough love! How can you solve a problem, find a solution when you have to walk on egg shells so as not to offend someone?
Step by step. I really don't know, I'm no Gandhi, but I see things going the bad way again, for the second time in my life and I still don't know how to stop it.
I know I can do my part and tell the story of how it went the last time and maybe some will listen. We're all on our own journey, I just hope we end up listening more to each other than we do the government, any government, or the media.
Take care, thanks for the chat.
I am with you. This trend frightens me.
People aren't even trying anymore. If they aren't getting their way, they're resorting to force through bullying and intimidation, and once you've gone there, it's only a matter of time before there is real violence.
I don't know what they're thinking, but honestly, I really suspect they're not, only feeling.

Having lived through that and thought it was horrible then, this is a ratchet up.
We will see. I'm seeing a burgeoning movement to deescalate tensions as well.
History will record while he tried to step on all of us, we kicked him in his rear and step on him,” she yelled, whipping up the crowd.
“If you think we’re rallying now, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet,” she warned.
“Already, you have members of your Cabinet that are being booed out of restaurants,” she continued as the crowd erupted, “who have protesters taking up at their house, who say, ‘No peace, no sleep. No peace, no sleep,'” she continued.

So this type of harassment has happened 3 times in less than 1 week, to three conservative women. combine that with Mad Maxine putting it out over the airways of MSNBC, that not only is this type of behavior ok, but she also encouraged more of it and we have a very disturbing trend starting here.

Yep, Waters is a nut and probably crossing legal lines.
She is one of 300 plus million Americans.
Unless you give people like that power and attention, they are totally powerless.

When asked whether Mister Rogers would have approached the situation the same way the activists did, one of the protesters said, "I'm not Mister Rogers."
