As a politician, you are the PR actor for a bad system. Everyone is figuring out it's rigged.

How about quit rigging the system?

I don't have people protesting me.

Why?

I don't rip people off.

No, we must never quit rigging it, let's just make a police state.

They aren't protesting a rigged system. They are taking political action solely for the sake of political rivalry.

Really?

Righties are talking about it too ... are you sure?

Maybe this kind of fear-mongering, irritation, etc. is effective on HUMANS ... regardless of politics?

These politicians that are complicit in encouraging this which should be grounds for removal from office. All because the establishment didn't get their darling district 1 queen into office.

Are they purposely doing this to start a massive uprising in hopes of removing Trump? It surely won't happen that way.

Yup. I see it here on the boards all the time. Like when people post the, "internet tough guy" line. Uhh that line inherently comes from the same place. It's a duality that exist.

Jung called it the shadow.

That's why older people tell you, "just listen, listen to what people say". People who do not practice mindfulness and awareness have a tendency to say what they are thinking or what's been on their mind rather than actually be in the moment discussing whatever it is you're discussing. So if you just listen to what people say you can see what their subconscious is projecting into their statement and discover their true motivations.

Political affiliation will become another protected group, and we will lose a little more of our 1st amendment rights. Because millenials are freaking idiots and were never taught how to act.

I don't think so. If this keeps up, it will get worse. I have already seen activist talk about using information to target "your neighbors" to shame them into thinking the right way.

This comes in the form of making maps and lists of concealed carry permit holders and using voter registration records to identify those who need re-education so to speak along with ensuring nobody commenting on the Internet is anonymous (like our board here) so when people like me speak out against them they can be "influenced" so to say.

Example: (Go get em!)

Newspaper sparks outrage for publishing names, addresses of gun permit holders

Someone is going to get hurt if this keeps up.

This is programming my good man.

Have you noticed in the past week the phrase "could result in violence" and similar talking points have been bouncing around the media??

They're trying to incite it. And this sort of manipulation is more effective on the lefties.

I don't think its engineering as much as it's observation and speculation.

Yup. It's called gaslighting and the organizers are aware of this as a tactic for mind control.

This is why you have to become a rugged individualist and find principles and keep those principles. This is why I have decided to adhere to classical liberal principles because they are a defined set of principles that I can check my own personal philsophies on to see if they match and if not why? What is my bias and is my information correct?

This is lost on neo-liberals and the left but similarly lost on the far right. True conservatives practice this but that group is increasingly small due to the manipulation of the education system.

What my point is, is that Trump gets accused of and everyone loses their minds over things that are not unusual. For Chrissakes, they were circulating a report about hookers peeing on him as if it was true....and people actually believed it. They. Believed. It.

Insane.

100 years from now 5th graders learning American History will laugh at how stupid this whole era is.

Oh, I'm aware that that is the basis of their "complaint"...and the politicians (why do I feel like I need a shower after typing that word?), such as Waters who are openly supporting it need to be held accountable if/when the inevitable happens if this doesn't stop.

This is utter and complete insanity. Do the Democrats actually think this is going to win them the mid-terms? I'll tell you right now, I won't be voting GOP, but I sure as Hell won't be voting Democrat, either.

Of course, some of these Democrats want something bad to happen so they can blame Trump. It all come back to that.

BLAME TRUMP!!!

It's all they've got at the moment. ...and it's only 4 and a little months 'til the Mid-terms, and desperation is beginning to set in.

They don't like guns, don't carry guns, but they're gonna intimidate concealed carry holders.
Not the sharpest tools in the shed, are they?

So, again we have Progressives rushing to mob another public official when someone recognized her. So this is how it is going to work going forward it appears. If you do not support the Progressives and their causes, they are going to harass you in public requiring police escorts or hunt you down at your residence or place of employment.

Do I have that correct?

www.tampabay.com...

A group of protesters accosted Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi outside the screening of the new documentary about Mister Rogers at the Tampa Theatre on Friday night, questioning her about her recent actions on health care policy and her stance on immigration.

A video of the confrontation, taken by progressive activist Timothy Heberlein of Organize Florida, shows several people shouting down Bondi as she leaves the theater escorted by law enforcement after seeing Won't You Be My Neighbor.

Tampa Police Department public information officer Janelle McGregor confirmed the department got a call from Florida Highway Patrol asking for help escorting Bondi out of the Tampa Theatre.

"The video they are choosing to share is of the least aggressive portion of the attack that transpired after police arrived to control the scene. What they are not sharing publicly are several previous encounters involving large men getting in the Attorney General's face, spitting and blocking her exit," the spokesman, Whitney Ray, said in an emailed statement. "The Attorney General tried to have a conversation with these individuals, however, when it became abundantly clear that they were not interested in a constructive dialog but were only there to cause a scene, the attorney general tried to leave the volatile scene."

Heberlein, who accused Bondi of refusing to start a dialogue with groups that work with at-risk communities like his, said he has no regrets about how the protesters acted.

"If you refuse to meet with us, we're coming to where you're at. We're coming to where you're watching a movie or eating dinner," he said. "Sorry, not sorry."

Seems like they really like to go after the Women. This is the 3rd story in a week where they go after the ladies.

This isn't particularly new. Perhaps news coverage of it is.

How many hours of the day do you think laws and policies, which politicians and bureaucrats enact, apply to you?

Yeah, I'll admit, Peegate is kinda silly, but also kinda funny if you don't like Trump. I think of it like calling Michelle Obama a man.

Yeah, we humans are a gullible bunch. Kind of like believing that the whole FBI and DOJ are Hillary supporters.

Pfft. Ridiculous.

I was going to start a thread about that. A friend, who shall remain safely anonymous (and I wish I were being factious saying that...), told me that there are folks in my locality saying the same thing.

Shaming people into following along with the "proper" thinking.

Quite a few people on ATS seem to sincerely believe that Michelle is a man.

It's only a matter of time before people fight back. People can only get pushed so far before they inevitably decide they have had enough.

I've seen it 1000 times in the boxing ring.

Something you have to do as a trainer is take someone with a lot more experience and put them in there with someone who's learning.

You take them, put the more experienced fighter in the ring with them and tell them hey guys keep it light. Then as they naturally pickup the pace and speed you see the less experienced fighter hesitating and second guessing themselves.

How do you solve this problem?

You tell the more experienced fighter to put the pressure on hard and do not let up. What happens is with enough pressure the less experiences guy has no choice but to fight their way off of the ropes and that's when they overcome their fear and real learning process begins.

It truly is a mindset. I was a crack addict and yes, it seemed like everyone I came across was as well - because degenerates 'know their own" so to speak. On "That 70's Show" when Donna 'did it' with Eric, it seemed like she had a sign on her head (same thing when I lost my big V) - it's the vibes YOU put out that create your reality.
I don't post much at all, but your analogy is spot-on.
BTW am better now with a good job and life. It's hard to wrench yourself out of the mindset most of all
