Past that though, Who or what is behind this push to get americans ready to engage in mass violence. Is it just the money that sensationalism generates or do you think there is something more?

But which Americans? That's the real question. The MSM makes it seem that the right think the left is ready to engage in mass violence and vice versa. Threads after threads here prove that. Besides I doubt "they" think we will do anything but express outrages to generate revenue. Like on the first page I posted a picture explaining that phenomenon.
But who knows?

They do still (pretty much all) hate Jane Fonda though...is that racist?

No more so than hating Trump.

How do they think of LBJ?

That's the sound Hillary makes all the time.

That was funny, but I thought her sound was more like a cackle...

I don't hate Peter Fonda. Know why? He gave us Bridget Fonda.

I liked Easy Rider.

Never really paid much attention to what Peter had to say out loud.

Being in the military since 1980 I don't think LBJ has ever once come up in a conversation in my whole life...I'm not kidding...

Women don't like Easy Rider, anymore.

He rode. He failed. He's history.

Barbarella was pretty cool.

Of course, I was but a lad at the time.

Not everyone but some people. I can give you a few recent threads proving that.

But who is the they?

Exactly. However I would think that the MSM keep pushing the narratives to keep the money flowing in. And that's exactly why the MSM (BOTH left and right) loves Trump so much.

ETA - Actually yes they are trying to keep everyone afraid but many smart people won't take the bait.

No Hanoi Jane wasn't cool.

I was about 1 at the time, and here I am still disagreeing.

I started flying in the AF in 1980 and everyone at the time was a Viet Nam vet..old crusty bastards. Cig in one hand and coffee in the other, once they landed it was drinks until they flew again...I don't think they actually ate solid foods.

I worked for an air cargo company that flew DC3s and 6s.
One of the 2nds had been a B29 crewman and lived! At least, that's what he said.

Totally on topic.
