If they came from Asia and crossed the track from there to the Northwest most accounts have them speaking in a Chinese language which you can look up the sounds. If a creature was observing humans they would have learned enough of that spoken language. Has anyone ever given this any thought?

There are B/G teeth found in china. Just some food for thought.

Bigfoot speaks Chinese!?
I gotta admit in 50 years, I havent heard any mention of a talking bigfoot, much less a chinese dialect.

Why is it hard to believe some species evolved right here?

You make a good point. So far I have read the first page and now I am reading the “see also” parts. It is very interesting to say the least.

There was a navy cryptolinguist (R Scott Nelson) with like 30 years of experience in analyzing language and audio who did a big 2 or 3 hour long presentation on some of the spoken language recordings. It's somewhere on Youtube if you feel like digging for it. From what I recall, it's not a known language - although it is in fact language, which he explains. It's also spoken very fast. What sounds like gibberish is actually individual words when broken down into a slower speed.

Here's part of one of the most famous recordings, but there are others I've heard as well.
Interestingly, they tend to sound extremely similar to recreations of what neanderthals would have sounded like.

I feel that we do science a disservice always insisting humans, well and now bigfoot, arrived here from elsewhere.
Whatever really happened to wipe out the giant fauna 10k years ago, was significant enough to destroy a ton of other evidence.

Not exactly Chinese but you have to take into consideration how it sounded to them and they simply try to repeat it. look up some videos.

Thank you for posting to to help prove my point. But neanderthals? far from that and I don't have the time to show you how you are wrong. you missed to by around 9,000 years, 300,00 years lol there is not evidence for any kind of human from about 14,00 to 21,00 years ago

The guy in that video has serious balls if he really believes those are Bigfoot making the noises. He is trying to imitate their sounds and "talk" to them which I would think is insanely risky.

The reason you should never imitate a monkey or gorilla etc, is because you have no idea what you may be implying to them with your sounds. I would imagine Bigfoot are not very different. What if those sounds are part of a mating call, and he is essentially saying "come challenge me for breeding rights".

Like, bro, you got no idea what that sasquatch is saying. Might want to be careful.

Now mind You I've never seen one but I did hear one yell and it was not human I was camping in the woods with a friend not afraid to admit it but it scared the brownies out of us we emptied every weapon we had in it's direction. we waited until daylight to leave and I looked up the calls of every animal in this state and not one matched.

I tried to get my friend to go back and look for tracks but he wouldn't and I wasn't going alone.

I wasn't wrong about anything. I never said bigfoots are neanderthals, nor do I believe that. For one, there's a huge size difference between the two.

If a creature was observing humans they would have learned enough of that spoken language.

Since these things are apparently human hybrids, it would depend upon whether or not they retained the proper throat anatomy and brain function to speak.

On the other hand, I was just listening to a recording on the Internet by outdoor guy Les Stroud who said that he experienced what some people are calling "mindspeak" from these creatures. A kind of telepathy, apparently, that other witnesses have also experienced. So maybe in whatever hominid mix these things came from, one species had a knack for ESP. And if that were the case, they might be less likely to use vocalizations and spoken language to communicate.

Bigfoot are EVERYWHERE....near Cities and Towns and Farms...EVERYWHERE......they are NOT all hiding out in the boondocks.

They are Onivorous and we can be on the Menu for some groups who need our livers for the vitamins and minerals but only the very desperate ones eat muscle and meat as we do when we cook it.....the ones who are more vegetarian inclined are the most peacefull longest lived ones and the ones who eat mostly meat for whatever reasons are the most violent ill and shortest lived ones.....just like humans.

Guys like Standing ARE getting real footage....I myself e-mailed Standing the locations he and Survivorman went to....around Nordeg Alberta Canada....but they all have fiscal agendas and some are attention whores who are not in it for the species anymore....they are trying to humanise a species that is not human and is not primate.....instead of creating a new species they are trying to pigeonhole this one ....the levels of protection they are seeking are being pursued based on human DNA comparisons but a cow is over 80% the same in terms of DNA as a human is....this is where these glory-seekers are going wrong....these are not complete primates and they are not complete humans they are a NEW SPECIES AND THEY REQUIRE NEW LEGESLATIONS....not the same level of protection as indiginous people but certainly on the endangered list PLUS.

LOL...ROFLMAO....a mating call....you reminded me of the movie with the Rock with the horny monkeys.....lol....lol....forget that and worry about the tree-knocks because they use them when they are hunting deer and looking for fresh liver to dine on...they use the woodknocks to HERD DEER into killing zones.

Interesting wondering of this topic.

a reply to: ArchangelOger

Chinese not per se. Over time then they may have absorbed more local dialects to North American areas similarly to say if they did absorb any language from humans, or as mentioned Neanderthal( Denisovan). Always thought the "Sierra Sounds" seemed more like a kid's show cartoon "Tasmanian Devil", at least at the beginning of the recording.

Dr. Jeff Meldrum of Idaho state is doing this research and has been for a long time. He has a few books out like, Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science. I think he is probably the best source of information. I have seen his presentations and he covers the great ape from China in his theories. I didn't read your link he may have been mentioned.

Well, I've been interested in the subject longer than you've even been alive, so I know a thing or two. I've also personally seen and encountered stranger things, so bigfoot to me is no stretch of the imagination.

That's not correct. They're reported most commonly in Australia, Eastern Russia, Canada, and the US. They seem to have originated somewhere in Asia, migrating southward across Sundaland into Australia, and northeast through eastern Russia into North America across Beringia. This is probably why the majority of sightings occur in the pacific northwest area of the US. Some people in the bigfoot community think they're surviving gigantopithecus, which was a (probably bipedal) ape that originated in the same area.
