I can't argue your stance. Yet the speed of the counter effort, this statement from DHS, the responses from those that don't buy into it, speaks volumes. More and more people seem to be aware of this. The timing on this one looks to also be a deflection from the Singapore summit.

This latest effort seems to be dying on the vine as we speak. I'm mildly optimistic for the mid-terms which is huge for this momentum to continue.

Scan the Opinion pages of today's NYT. Then turn on CNBC. The NYT is doing all it can do to stir up social instability and the Trump tariff war has the Dow Jones average down 400 points. See the big red headline on Drudge, DOW TUMBLES, WIPES OUT GAIN FOR THE YEAR.

The message is simple. Trump equals so much political instability that he's going to tank the stock market.

Now understand this! The only thing the retiring Boomers care about anymore is their Stock and Bond investments. They dont give a crap anymore about tax policy, they are retired, they dont care about the culture wars, they know thats a lost cause, and they dont care about open borders, they know that is a lost cause and nothing but bad optics and they dont care about healthcare, they got Medicare. All they care about is the Stocks and Bonds markets.

If the Markets get shaky, they wont even turn out in 2018, or if they do, they'll vote Democrat. They will take political stability first even if it means a socialist government.

This really clarifies this situation. Trump is trying to fix this PERMANENTLY, not just temporarily. This puts Trumps claims in perspective as well.

Yes, it's horrible. But it's the law. We can ignore the law, as we do with other things.
But the real solution is to fix the law, so this never happens again.

I can understand why people are upset, but what I can't understand is that they don't seem to grasp what Trump is trying to do. He wants this fixed RIGHT, not fluffed. I get it, and agree.

She works for the federal government yet does not allow for the constitution to be followed.

Immigration is a state function not a federal function as per the constitution.

Can you tell me which specific laws stipulate that children be removed from their parents over a misdemeanor offense, to then be "housed" en masse, in cages, denied the slightest form of comfort during a traumatic period in their lives, with improper levels of care from child psychologists, and in very lightly staffed locations where their welfare cannot be maintained effectively?

First, you will need to prove that the above it all true and factual, and not just some regurgitated bile from the dog whistle that forced you to care about these kids, whom you didn't give a rats ass about last year. why are you telling everyone here about this? Not sure if you know, but most of us don't have any authority to fix it. Plus, you may be wrong. But if you are sure you are right, you need to contact the news outlets and be heard.

There is a "child crisis" of families being seperated in America right now that has been going on for decades and nobody ever gave a hoot...

Child protective services will take away your kid if you are caught smoking marijuana. It happened to someone I know in Texas. She and her husband had to jump through a bunch of hoops including passing a drug test a certain amount of times just to get their kid back. This never would have happened if they lived in one of the Cannabis States.

What do you think happens to a single parent when they are ordered to serve time to pay off piling up parking tickets, or gets arrested for driving without a license because it's the only way they could support their family was to drive illegally, as an "illegal" driver during the 90 day suspension? Their child gets taken.

What if someone gets their kid taken away for negligence? Like not keeping them clean, or in clean clothes, and not watching them at all during the day while they play outside, all because they were so busy saving up and working on something else that would give their family a better future?

What if someone just really really likes stealing, because they want to give their children a better life?

Wouldn't you normally just say these people should just Not break the law and they never would have put their families through this?kl( Why is it different for the people crossing the US Southern Border? You might have forgotten the men and women in the military. When they are called to serve even they are forced to be separated from their children.
It is sad to see but with like 10,000 children who are at the border ALREADY separated by choice as their parents sent the alone with human traffickers a sane person has to wonder what the PRIMARY action is that puts these children in danger. It most certainly is not the authorities that are forced by law in how to act.
I believe that the parents of any unaccompanied child that sends them to cross the border with a stranger and or human trafficker is possibly the worst parents alive.
What kind of mother would do that?
What's next? Strap suicide vests on them before sending them to cross alone?

Just by reading this post there are those who blind follow anything Trump does as ok. Most those same post hate all thing Clinton as well as Obama. hands down Obama was the great deport, deport more then nearly all the previous president combined. BUT I believe hairs are split is no this illegal aliens crossing border who also encaged in some type of criminal activity, IE drug trafficking, murder, rape robbery and so on. THEN those family member who were parents who committed crimes and had to processed like any other criminal. Therefore their children who accompanied had to separated.

Just like a WHITE American who committed any crime and had children with them upon their arrest. IF next legal guardian is not available then those children would be placed in some type of holding center.

WHAT the Cheeto is doing taking children away from a parent as deterrent to their illegal crossing of our border.

These individuals should NOT crossing illegally into America. From my point of view it too unsafe. I do not have problem with these individuals wishing for a better life and seeing American as the way.

The MORON in charge have no intention of fixing the problem. They do plan on making it worst.
