It isn't a change in terms. There are asylum seekers among the illegals. They get caught and register for asylum and under certain asylum criteria we grant it to them. Under Trump they are being treated like illegals. Even at proper border crossing places.

Asylum Seeking Families, Too, Are Being Separated

Change the law so that they can apply for asylum at the nearest USA embassy. Or is it more dangerous to travel to an USA embassy in their home country than it is to take a long train ride up through South America and cross the border illegally?

The US has a history of doing such, that goes beyond what FDR did. But then again what is the difference if they are US citizens or from another country? These are people. The way they are treated is not really within the idea of this country. The initial tracking of these people while in custody is there, but once they are processed, the tracking stops and it is starting that they are not able to track to ensure that the children are reunited with their parents. So once the children are processed, they are transferred to another agency, but the data that goes with them are not being transferred. Combine that with a president who is using them as a barging chip, then is this really what the country stands for? Is that what you want to be associated with?

I did not call Trump Hitler, however, the policies that are coming from the White House are resembling the same policies of such. Personally after watching what is coming out of DC, between Trump and the congress, it is not Hitler that I would think of when it comes to this President, but someone else.

So in the late 70s and early 80s a plan was put into place in case of massive exist from the southern countries to America due war or whatever, maybe crime. If you listen to the democrats Trump is locking children in cages, ripping crying children from their mothers arms, and the Trump administration "lost" 1,500 migrant children, along with a whole lot more lies.

The truth is that the pic of the kids sleeping in what looks like a cage is from the obama years. As soon as democrats find that out they delete the pic and the tweets/posts/etc. As for ripping children from their mothers arms, the policy is the same one in place for obama. Democrats made it illegal to hold children more than 20 days in a detention center. But it often takes longer than that to process the adults. There are two choices: keep the children in detention with the parents, or, send them somewhere else. As a result, the children and often placed with sponsors, usually related to them, sometimes their own parents, and given a court date. This is where "losing" children happens. Its not the Trump lost 1,500 children. The problem is that the families don't stay where the government put them and they skip their court dates. When Immigration officials go looking for them they can't find them. They aren't being lost by Trump, they are fleeing and evading Immigration officials. This happened during the obama administration too but you never heard a democrat cry about the children then...

1. Trump Created Separation Of Children From Illegal Immigrant Parents. This is plainly false. In 1997, the federal government made an agreement in a case called Flores not to keep unaccompanied illegal immigrant children in custody beyond 20 days. The settlement said nothing about accompanied illegal immigrant children – children who crossed the border with their parents. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals then ruled that accompanied children also could not be held in custody under the terms of the settlement. This meant that the government either had to release whole families, or that the government had to separate parents from children.

So this is considered a concentration camp now? The facility in the video is where the children are housed after processing. I can take you to some trailer parks in the south where some kids are living in worse conditions than what is portrayed in this video.

This is just another tactic of the MSM to divert attention from the IG report as has been stated multiple times. Another false narrative for the liberals to slurp up.
