Lots of controversies and speculation surrounded the James Comey statement that said Hillary Clinton was "extremely careless" about handling classified material.

Rumors were flying that the original wording was "Gross Negligence".

Seems that was true, Comey did originally use "Gross Negligence" (Hmmm wonder why? Maybe true eh).

And guess who "Led the Charge" to get "Gross Negligence" out of the picture.

Yup, Lisa Page of all people !! 😃

All part of the cover-up I suppose.

They had to get the heat off Hillary (they failed just the same) 😎

It also said he knew by April that there was no evidence to support a prosecution.
April. Four full months before he made his condenmnation/ exoneration public service announcement end game run around behind your bosses back play.
What would you guys have said if Obama had fired him for that move I wonder...

Clearly you don't understand how the language of the charge/ investigation has to apply in court in order for the charge to stick

I remember vividly that Democrats publicly criticized Comey during the Campaign and after the election loss.

Then I was bewildered when Democrats vividly criticized Trump for firing Comey.

The IG report states clearly that there was no legal basis for "Gross Negligence" in the case, and additionally, criticizes James Comey for including it in his public address.

Democrats and other reasonable people criticized the President for firing Comey based on the President's own statements that he did so because of the pressures of the Russia Investigation.

What court? What charge?
There wasn't any charge because there wasn't evidence of a crime.
The April date predates his "language " choice.
If there wasn't evidence of a crime, language doesn't matter.
And he was out of line making that announcement where he chose his own language.

So if you did what Hillary did you wouldn't be in jail right?

Irony- people that chastise the populace on the perils of white privilege while applauding the very epitome of it for political points.

In your book maybe. Yes he deserved our ire in Oct . And when he got fired not one dem cried. BUT. BUT. When trump fired him because he was under pressure with the original Russia probe that needed to be called out. Hint...No one on the left cares about James Comey.
We care about trumps attempt at obstructing justice by firing Comey.

Ah yes the Russia probe.

Comey admitted that he leaked material to his "friend" who leaked to the press.

He admitted he did that because he wanted it to lead up to a SC.

Brilliant 😃🎃

Let's stick to reality ok. Clinton didn't commit a crime. An investigation by the FBI has determined that. An investigation into the investigation supports that their declination to press charges was valid.

Focus on one issue Foxy . One at a time.
Now you want to start on the obstruction of justice investigation?
Your thread. About Comey changing his language at the last minute.
How many pages has it been. One?

Ok.

Clinton didn't commit a crime.

Your opinion.

An investigation by the FBI has determined that.

An investigation by a corrupt, biased, partisan investigation where they exonerated her before even investigating.

An investigation into the investigation supports that their declination to press charges was valid.

Also untrue. The investigation into the investigation illustrated clear bias. Obvious bias.
