Government regulations and govement business interference are presented and spun as a way of protecting us the plebs. Some like water and pollution's laws actually do (when they are enforced anyway). Generally they don't. They are there prob up certain very rich individuals and and keep the common folk down and basically enforce a class system.

Couple of bug bearers of mine:

Any sort of corporate welfare:

The economy is a like a forest. Certain plants like giant redwoods or pines will out perform the smaller plants. Those giant trees will block out the light and stifle the smaller competition. BUT the large tree are vulnerable to lighting strikes and bigger and more contested these giants tree become the more vulnerable, and eventually you get a forest fire that destroys them and so the light gets to the ground and smaller saplings can thrive and the cycle repeats.

That should be what happens in the economy. But it doesn't, the government keeps those "big trees" propped up beyond what should be there natural life span disrupting the natural cycle. 2008 should of been the forest fire that reset everything, it didn't and we are paying that price.

Accredited investor

You know how many of the super rich keep getting richer. Hedge funds! And they are great ideas! You pool you money with others and a hedge fund manager invests that to increase its worth.

BUT

Only the rich by law are allowed access this by what is called Accredited investor status. You can not in most country's invest in a hedge fund unless you are already rich. US you have to have $1 million in assets EXCLUDING your home and be earning $200,000 a year.

The idea from the govement is that poor and middle class people are too stupid to invest and know the risks. But really its a way of stopping the middle class to make extra cash.

The regulation should be scrapped and such investments made open to EVERYONE. You make the investment at your own dam risk. We should all be allowed to invest our money as we like.

Squatters and certain tenants rights.
Like the fact it can be almost impossible to evict someone and the cost of going through the process court process lands on the land owner even if the tenants have not been paying rent or have trashed the property! This drives up rent and deposits to negate the risk.
If you dont pay rent or are squatting the police should be allowed to come in to the property and throw then out and charge them the cost as they are STEALING from the land owner.

The only obligation a landlord should have is to provide safe accommodation and agree to his side of a tenancy agreement.

And there are plenty more. regulations I hate.

What are the regulations and government interference you hate?

The government should regulate its own bureaucracy. It should concern itself with defending the individual liberties of the individual, defending the nation from foreign attack, and that’s it.

Yeah Apart from basic life and death things and protection of property the government should butt out.

Governments over regulate simply because they are terrified if they don't the public will see how useless they are.
