I think this is a stab proof vest?!

Whilst this is a tragic story and I genuinely feel bad for the parents losing a son. I did have a quiet chuckle to myself over the utter stupidity of this potential Darwin Award winner.

He thought the vest he was wearing was stab proof, so he tried it and guess what it wasn’t.

Initially I felt bad and considered not posting this, then I found out he’d served 30 months for mugging a pregnant lady he knew from school.

Bit like putting on a bullet proof vest, then looking into the barrel and pulling the trigger to see if the gun is loaded.

He became the perpetrator of his own fear. It is a bit sad, if he had settled down, but then, needing a stab proof vest doesn't really lend to that.. I know the knife crime over there is bad, though.

I think these non-stab proof stab proof vests could help solve the knife crime epidemic in London.

Couple of cockney geezers selling them cheap off market stalls and Bobs’s your uncle- they all do the world a favour.

I friend of mine died a few years ago just like this

One of the dumber things I've seen recently was a guy point a .22 rifle at his toe and pull the trigger "to see if it was loaded."
Had to have his big toe amputated.

You know you don’t have to wear the vest to check if it’s stab proof..

In ER response? Spin the vest guy around... Slash his calf tendons. He goes down and is repeatedly stabbed over and over in the head and face.

Vest only protects center vital organs... except the arms, legs, head and face. Cops wearing vests are always being brought down or killed by shots to the legs, or to the exposed head.

Full Knight chainmail body armor and helmets, I say!
