This is how you slowly wake the masses up to what is actually happening.

Our intelligence/justice departments were weaponized against a political opponent and this little gem here....

I'm surprised by your takes on this as somebody who has railed against what you've deemed persecution of those guilty of "thought crime."

Human beings have biases. It's inescapable. The pretext for all this whining about "bias" is essentially that anti-Trump sentiment is a unique bias which prevents people from acting in an ethical and professional manner. Unfavorable opinions of Trump are insurmountable conflicts of interest.

What about all the people whose texts and emails we haven't seen? Whose thoughts we haven't been made privy to? Should be just assume that they're all perfectly neutral? Should we hook them all up to lie detectors and grill them about their political opinions so that we may purge the FBI of anti-Trump bias? Perhaps we should include other questions to root out other biases?

The mortal sin of Strzok and Page was giving voice to their opinions in private conversations on government-issued devices.

The OIG looked over hundreds of thousands of documents (case docs, emails, texts, etc) and interviewed hundreds of people in their course of their investigation. They turned up no evidence that bias directly impacted decisions made in the investigation let alone that there was some sort of conspiracy per Trump and his supporters.

So I ask you, what was the actual malfeasance? Having thoughts that weren't politically correct?

You want to go this route? Why is it that Donald Trump Jr took multiple meetings with known (in fact, convicted) pedophile George Nader?

We all know that a good meme explains your entire argument. Literally one line of text on a picture encapsulate your entire argument which is why you seem to put so much emphasis on it.

What exactly does Trump Jr have to do with this?

Actually you have that backwards. It's the left's arguments and points are SOOO weak all I have to do is meme to defeat and disarm them....

It's almost as easy and beating Hillary in her rigged election....

The fbi laid down with Hillary and got up with fleas plus Tb, MRSA, and probably aids infecting it systems and policies. Did the fbi and DOJ circumvent justice? Yes. Did the fbi and DOJ breach their own policies? Yes. Did the fbi and DOJ have conflicts of interest with Hillary? Yes. Was there a definite political bias within the fbi and DOJ? Yes. Did fbi and DOJ conspire to help Hillary and harm trump? Yes. Bring the axe down, I think we're all tired of this BS and postering.

Please tell me wtf is right about any of this?

Hillary still hasn't been investigated, so obviously there are no new answers. The government has to get over itself and realize it is NOT to big to fail. They can fix this mess themselves and offer up equitable solutions, or one day, sooner than later, the people can and will fix it for them.

Cheers - Dave

It doesn't matter. The appearance of impartiality is damaging to the entire system. This is why people recuse themselves.

Appearance of Impropriety

An employee shall endeavor to avoid any actions creating the appearance that the employee is violating the law or the ethical standards set forth in this part.

5 CFR 2635.101(b)(14)

Impartiality Standard

Generally, you should seek advice before participating in any matter in which your impartiality could be questioned. You may not participate without authorization in a particular matter having specific parties that could affect the financial interests of members of your household or where one of the following is a party or represents a party: someone with whom you have or are seeking employment, or a business, contractual or other financial relationship; a member of your household or a relative with whom you have a close relationship; a current or prospective employer of a spouse, parent or child; or an organization which you now serve actively or have served, as an employee or in another capacity, within the past year.

5 CFR 2635.502

Remedies For Conflicts

If you have a financial conflict of interest or believe your impartiality might be questioned, you must either disqualify yourself from taking action that could affect your interest, or see your Deputy DAEO about the following alternatives:

In the case of a financial interest, you either may seek a waiver of the prohibition under 18 USC§ 208 (b), or must divest yourself of the interest. (If you are directed to divest an interest, you may be eligible to defer the tax consequences of divestiture.) Your component head may grant you a waiver if your financial interest is found to be not so substantial as to affect the integrity of your services to the Government.

18 U.SC. 208(b)(1)
5 CFR 2634.1001-.1004

In a case where your impartiality might be questioned, you may obtain a formal determination from your component head that the Department’s interest in your participation outweighs the concern that the integrity of the Department’s operations would be questioned.

5 CFR 2635.502(d)

When participating in matters affecting your financial interests, you have an unlimited exemption for holdings in a diversified mutual fund and for certain employee benefit plans where the holdings may be affected by the matter. In addition, you have an exemption of $50,000 for aggregated interests in sector mutual funds that may be affected by a matter in which you participate. You also have an exemption for interests in publicly-traded securities not to exceed $15,000 in parties to a matter, and $25,000 per asset when participating in a matter of general applicability, such as rulemaking and drafting of most legislation, with a combined limit of $50,000 in all entities affected by the general matter.

DOJ Ethics Handbook

Besides being politically correct, not to mention breathlessly following the anti-Trump press, they discredited the entire organization because they were texting like little girls.

Wow, the Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) symptoms are strong in this thread! Even the examples given by the TDS sufferers herein pertain to people not named Trump, but these TDS sufferers sharing these examples somehow seem to think these examples they’ve provided prove that someone named Trump is guilty of something.

Glad I don’t live my life vicariously through someone named Trump!

it looks like there are other investigations and more reports to come

Just like I said in another thread from yesterday, they're dragging this charade out for as long as they possibly can and ATS members will continue eating it up like is the best thing ever.

The dossier turned into a dud, so did the IG report so now it's on to the next bread crumb they've left for us to frantically chase after.

See? Now that is actually a bit clever! It conveys an idea.

Why do you keep bringing Hillary up? What makes you think I give two craps about her? It really sounds like you've created a nice and neat little box to fit people into in case they disagree with you.

If they don't agree with you they automatically go into your "leftist/Hillary loving/Obama supporting/America hating/Commie" box and you tie it up with a nice little socialist bow, even if in reality they don't believe any of those things.

Very ignorant of you.

Nice but clean the picture up a little! And maybe make it more political so it is more relevant to everyone.

Question:

And I mean this is a serious question because I don't keep up with this whole Trump thing quite as much as I used to....

I seem to recall a few weeks ago Trump saying that he was going to instruct the DoJ to launch a investigation into his allegation that he and his associates were spied on. Has anything ever came of that??

Donald Trump tweets like a 14 year-old mean girl. So does that mean that Donald Trump discredits the office? How about the whole country?
