Detention facilities. Also can you point out in your post history where you made this exact same argument when Obama and Bush and Bill Clinton were doing the exact same thing?

Elien Gonzalez anyone?

Concentration camps.

Obama wasn't separating families or holding them as long. I've never commented on Bush and Clinton policies so there's no history to quote in either direction, but if you want to bring up Elien Gonzalez, I think Bill Clinton was wrong on that.

Actually they are detention facilities.
Yes Obama was separating families and was holding them less time because they ignored 2 laws and a supreme court ruling by just releasing them into the general population with a legal parent or guardian being with them. It would be like claiming crime is down because the jail, which holds 2k inmates, has about 5 left without disclosing the fact the inmates were released for one reason or another (overcrowding etc).

I brought up Bush and Clinton because the laws were in effect during their terms and yet people dont seem to be bitching about the actions then. The left is trying to claim this is something new and only occurs with Trump.

That is a lie.

It seems to work great in the US. Moving between states is totally effortless, and no one is harmed by doing so.

Movement inside of a state and across state lines is constitutionally protected at the person level.

Crossing an international boundary on the other hand is a national sovereignty issue and different laws apply.

You might want to look that up.

Just saying.

I have. Ease of travel, cheap trade, low crime, plenty of work, and good pay.

and a revolt by some major EU countries because of it. The reason the UK left. Poland and several other Eastern European countries are outright defying the EUP by closing their borders to refugees / asylum seekers. Italy refused a ship full of immigrants docking rights at their ports. Spain opted to take them in. Sweden is facing an internal civil war over the immigrant problem. Angela Merkel in Germany is close to being out of a job because of her immigration policy. One of her coalition ministers publicly criticized her policies and I doubt the coalition government will stay in place.

The terror attacks that have occurred were a direct result of their open border / immigration policies.

So no, its not all pristine and working in the EU.

That's due to far right radicals that had already been citizens in those countries. People who are scared they no longer have a place in the world. It's home grown terrorism, not an invasion.

That's insane, the problem is huge. My conspiracy mind is suspicious that these kids are a byproduct of the rich and their pedo games. There is clearly far more to what is going on than simply illegal immigration.

Many people have been convinced that being inhumane is an acceptable way to go about their lives. People are sick.
But there's soccer! (and Auschwitz had an orchestra) Like my daughter says, this is where the frog needs to jump out of the pot!

Just gloss over the Islamic Radical terror attacks. How did those people get into Europe in the first place?

Really? It is the far rights fault and not the far left globalist open border no need for sovereignty or security we've been in power for decades and find ourselves voted out of office because our policies have failed party?

Remember the freak out over Jade Helm?

They're instrumentalizing the 'human terrain' right now.
And it works like a charme.

I love it when Democrats get caught lying -

Obama seeks change to law that protects immigrant kids Alan Gomez, USA TODAY Published 12:00 p.m. ET July 2, 2014 | Updated 7:02 p.m. ET July 2, 2014

The change is part of a broad effort by the Obama administration to get a handle on the flood of young immigrants crossing the border. More than 50,000 unaccompanied minors have been caught on the border so far this year, most coming from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. The White House is requesting about $2 billion to house the children and move to the border a flock of immigration judges, U.S. attorneys and asylum advocates to counsel some immigrants on their asylum applications.

But immigration attorneys were ourtraged by the notion of changing a law designed to protect unaccompanied minors who may be victims of trafficking and violence.

"It's an utter devastation of due process for our most vulnerable community members," said Ruthie Epstein, a Washington-based policy analyst at the ACLU.

The White House wants all immigration cases – those that end with a deportation or an approval to remain in the country – resolved more quickly. Immigration courts are backlogged around the country, leaving children and adults waiting months or years for their cases to be resolved.

The 2008 law, which passed both chambers of Congress by unanimous consent and was signed into law by President George W. Bush, dictates exactly how children caught crossing the border without their parents must be treated.

click link for entire article.

The bolded part is the lie. Democrats keep claiming there was no law and their is. They claim its a policy Trump can change when the law in question says how illegal minors are to be handled.

In 2008 Democrats controlled both houses of Congress. The law was passed by UNANIMOUS consent.
