They can raise the awareness of trafficking all they want. That's great. Everyone should know about it.

I just believe that tomorrow or next week they will be outraged at something else Anti-Trump and completely ignore trafficking. I have followed their tirades on tw!tter for some time and there's a pattern.

Well that didn't take long.

Maybe it's a typo.

Maybe it's bring the plain (Amish) and punishement.

These guys...

Any stories about a caravan of buggies on the DC beltway tying up traffic today?

Some levity in the face of (my own) impatience.

The deadline is tomorrow June 22nd.

Republican leaders gave DOJ and FBI until this Friday to comply, a source familiar with the meeting told ABC News. Lawmakers had not received all of the requested documents as of Wednesday. The House Intelligence Committee has been given access to a "small portion" of the documents requested, according to a congressional official.

Yeah, because if random internet denizens could figure out that the "hacks" were an internal leak (probably Seth Rich), just based on the metadata, then a proper FBI investigation was absolutely out of the question.

The forensicator report was not conclusive and therefore not compelling. It relied on the creation times of the files without considering the handling of files after downloading. It is very weak as evidence but people accept it because they want to believe.

I think this brings the count to 13.

According to this report from 2016, suicide by suffocation accounted for 11,642 deaths so, I'm willing to bet 13 is low for the present year.

According to the WHO around 800,000 people commit suicide each year internationally.

Sometimes it seems like people really do live with their heads buried in sand.

So here is an inersting tidbit, as an extension of the discussion from yesterday about the Reveal article Alyssa Milano and Rosanna Arquette were braying about on Twot.

My post

Reveal: Immigrant children forcibly injected with drugs, lawsuit claims

The case sited by reveal is a current case, Jennny Lissette Flores, et al. v Jefferon B Sessions, et al., which is interesting, because it is very similar to another case from 1997, Flores v. Reno. Hmmmm. There couldn't be more than one Flores in the US, could there. Well, I guess there are, but in this case, it's the same Flores, 21 years after the fact.

Well how about that. Reno v. Flores was settled in 1997, appealed to the US 9th district court, then brought before the Supreme Court as Reno v. Flores, 507 U.S. 292 (1993), ruling against the claim made by Flores. In the opinion of the court:

On March 23, 1993, the Supreme Court announced judgment in favor of the government, voting 7-2 to reverse the lower court.[9] Justice Antonin Scalia, joined by Chief Justice William Rehnquist, and Justices Byron White, Sandra Day O'Connor, Anthony Kennedy, David Souter, and Clarence Thomas, held that the unaccompanied alien children had no constitutional right to be released to someone other than a close relative, nor to automatic review by an immigration judge.

There is more on the wiki page and it gets sort of deep. But the ruling also says that they can't be released to an incarcerated relative.

Why does this matter? Becasuse yesterday, POTUS signed and EO that says that children will not be separated from the parent or guardian during detention. That might be a problem.

As I mentioned in a previous post, there is an heirarchy of law that goes like this:

1. The Constitution (Supremem Law)
2. Case Law (establishes and interprets law passed by congress as constitutional and how it can be applied).
3. Laws passed by congress and signed by POTUS.

The Reno v Flores decision by SCOTUS is Case law. It is for all intents and purpose, set in stone. Today we got an article from Vox

Flores agreement: Trump’s executive order to end family separation might run afoul of a 1997 court ruling

And they are right. The Trump legal team had to know when the EO was signed that it carried no weight because of established case law. The SC ruling and subsequent laws passed within the boundaries of that law make it easy to challenge the legality of the EO in court.

It looks like Trump effectively put out the media fire on this issue, while simultaneously allowing it to be forced back into the hands of congress at a future date.

Anyone want a hot potato?

Remember last time Antifa was supposed to have a nationwide protest or whatever? They were saying millions were taking to the streets. Soros took them out a full page ad in The NY Times. What we got in reality was about a dozen fat out of shape “Xe’s” with purple hair. Scary.

i find it incredibly ironic that you post from Q claiming your movement is bigger than the media will let you know and is being suppressed, then claim that the resistance protest has been a dozen people, when media coverage of resistance protests has been actually very low.

talk about selective perception....

CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, Fox all aired non-stop coverage of the on-going ANTIFA riots whenever they occur then they all follow-up with OP EDs in their respective talking heads shows. It's made for TV drama ripe for viewer eyeballs (= ADVERTI$$$ING) so when you make the statement "when media coverage of resistance protests has been actually very low" you are either ignorant or never watch MSM news outlets.

They all live for that stuff.

Correct.

Fam. Seriously. If you've never paid any attention to what I've said in the past, I implore you to pay attention right now:

We CANNOT be a party to violence. They want martyrs. They know we out muscle them and out gun them. They want to incite YOU to be violent against them.

Direct assault didn't work for them in Berkely. They will bring new tactics.

DO NOT ENGAGE.

DO NOT ENGAGE IN VIOLENCE.

It's going to hurt, but if you find yourself in a squabble, REMEMBER THE NON AGGRESSION PRINCIPLE. If you don't know what it is, look it up.

Do what Ghandi did. Hell. Hold a bouquet of flowers to make a point.

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, and then YOU WIN."

Remember, it's going to hurt.

So its "WAR!!!" but no "War war"?

It's a LARP. We are going to go to war but the battles are not real, it's more like paintball. Well, maybe not even that, you are just going to meme each other into submission.
