Trump shouldn't do anything to restrict the freedom of the press, and he should leave them be, but he sure as hell should remove them from the White House press corp. Give their seats to lesser-known, but more truthful news agencies. Why should he continue to allow them in when they don't report any truth that comes out of the briefings. They twist and spin everything and they are nothing more than National Enquirers of broadcast news.

Considering our prison numbers I'm not sure how anyone can make that statement with a straight face.

I'm not defending your target, just lambasting your statement. The US has for a long time demonstrated some of the most fascist and amoral behaviors.
For example our sneaky decision to start the drug war, create for profit prisons, and reinstate the new form of legal slavery under a different guise that hides under the umbrella of "protecting us" from those dangerous pot heads.

It's not Donald's fault, your statement is just likewise as stupid is all. I agree with you it's not Donald's fault, but to say the US is as far from Fascism as possible is likewise absurd. Donald isn't leading us to Fascism because we are already well on our way long before he came along.

I have been saying for over a year that the liberal fake news media is a danger to America. They are domestic terrorists masquerading as media people.
When are you going to do something to stop or punish them president Trump? You have the entire power of the government available to put the screws to them in ways they cannot even imagine.
This sounds awfully authoritarian.
As long as humans have had free will and the ability to speak or write, there has always been the possibility of people lying, omitting, distorting or making false claims. It’s part of being alive to develop your discernment and work out what is true or false.

Silencing truth is bad. Allowing fabricated stories to further an agenda needs prosecution.
