I actually understood what Trump meant about that. I've never been wrong in my gut instinct when meeting someone new. He's a businessman, and body language, eye contact etc, that speaks much more than words.
I would trust Trumps judgement on another countries leaders way more than a career politician.

My career was in sales. If you outright lied to get a sale you destoryed your future sales because once the deal was made, the customer would inevitably have buyers remorsecause you lied to them. If you always tried to make the sale as a positive for them and made them understand how buying what you were selling was worth it to them, you not only made them feel like they spent their money wisely, but they would also tell their friends and family about how happy they were with their purchase. Repeat business thru word of mouth. The life blood of any successful salesperson. However, piss off ONE customer??? The result is exponential compared to those you made happy.

Politics isn't about a win/win scenario anymore, it is about win/lose and with that scenario the outcome will not be beneficial to anyone involved. The concept is so psychologically simple to understand, but take a good hard look at professional politicians. WORST SALESPEOPLE EVER!

Trump is a salesman!

SINGAPORE (AP) — President Donald Trump on Tuesday rocked a region and suggested the upending of decades of U.S. defense posture on the Korean Peninsula when he announced that he was stopping annual U.S.-South Korean military drills and wants to remove the 28,500 U.S. troops stationed in the South as a deterrent against North Korean attack.
apnews.com...

There you have it. Trump outsmarted by the chubby dictator half his age. Kim really is a God.

Well this seems like China is getting there wish. Firefly really did predict the future! I have not looked into the summit really cause we won’t know what really is going to happen because of it for another month really. But I am going to guess that this is China using NK to further the agenda. Seems logical to me.

Are you serious? Trump hired Manafort! Trump has no skill whatsoever in judging people.

All you had to do with Manafort is Google his name.

are you sure about that?

do you realize that search results change over time?

If Jesus Christ decended from heaven declaring world piece and gave his support to Trump I'm sure you would have some way to spin it as negative.

Jesus is a Russian spy?

My reply was as ridiculous as your OP.

Maxine Water's rear-end is jealous at the sheer volume of # coming out of her mouth. I dismiss anything she says outright, considering she's probably one of the least informed and lowest information member of congress.

Good as a figurehead for far-left illiberals, but as far as actually passing useful laws or contributing to a debate in a meaningful way? She's just not capable of it. Too low for that "critical thinking "stuff

On the bright side, Democrats had 2 options after 2016. They could remain the party of liberalism (and likely win back congress if historical precedent holds true) OR they could behave like a bunch of impotent sore losers and spew their Soviet-Kremlin-KGB delusions.

They chose the fake-scandal/porn star/Russia-Russia-Russia tin foil crap. They also threw any chance they had at regaining a majority in either house of congress in 2018. The loser progressives are driving real Democrats away from the party by the Thousands. Just look at the "I'm leaving" threads on Dem underground and you'll see my point. And this is LONG AFTER the 2016 election Clinton-rigging bull# that wrongfully installed Clinton as the nominee instead of Sanders (who was far more popular/energetic/intelligence/capable/respected/trusted/etc)

Thanks for handing us an easy victory, progressives. Unlike most of your party, we actually show up to vote - every time, all the time.

FYI Dems, a friendly tip: next time you need to nominate a Presidential candidate, don't select one that runs, hides and cowers from debates. Any candidate (read: Hillary Clinton) that is too weak to stand on their own 2 feet in a debate is not worthy of a major party nomination. Oh, and you may want to actually come up with a platform other than "Trump=bad, Russia conspiracy everywhere!" Just a tip.

when trump said he’ll know “within the first minute” if North Korea is serious about peace I knew it was all crap. a big clown show and nothing more. he was completely unprepared.

so far we've given more than we've gotten, and the dotard is calling him honorable. kim won this "deal". ya, i'm annoyed and think the whole farce is pathetic. i also see clearly why trump NEEDS this.. i hope it doesn't backfire bigly.

what are you thought on this -

Obama named three countries that he would negotiate with: Iran, Cuba, and the DPRK. However Obama actually went through the process of diplomacy. The JCPOA was an incredibly complex agreement, praised by skilled diplomats and former SECDEFs, and even Mad Dog Mattis. Cuba was more of a unilateral deal, but considering there were zero countries that supported the US boycott, throwing in the towel made sense.

Trump on the other had just wings it. This agreement is far less definitive than the one Clinton established and the DPRK totally violated. (Granted the fecal matter hit the fan when GW Bush declared the DPRK as part of the Axis of Evil. That was when the DPRK nuclear program went back to high gear, though apparently it never really stopped.)

Big reason why I like him, he's after a deal every time, and without the usual bull# diplomacy of career politicians. I follow him on twitter, and I love his brutal honesty.
I bet kim had a message/warning recently and he's just glad Trump is still willing to deal if he plays the game.

Exactly
Trump leaves the self-appointed moral superiority nonsense at the door, and talks like a real human being vs. a soulless DC drone.

He's a realistic. The specifics of the NK situation matter less than the fact that the United States (a more powerful country) refuses to accept a nuclear North Korea (a much weaker country). Trump knows this, and Kim knows this. They are both also very aware of the march to war we've been on for the past year, and that making a deal both sides can live with is the ONLY way forward (short of a nuclear holocaust)

Oh, well, if you say it twice, it's likely true.

That's the best you got?

Trump, along with the leaders of both Korea's, have made more progress in the past year, than in the past sixty. Is it really so hard for y'all to give him his due?

Yes, it's early days yet, but things have been worse across the DMZ.

...and that really annoys you, doesn't it?

Trump made zero progress. Zero.

Under Trump’s watch, the DPRK progress to a functional hydrogen bomb. Under Trump’s watch, the DPRK perfected an ICBM. Trump truly failed.

But look at this agreement. It is an agreement with no verification. It is an agreement with no timetable. It is far far less specific than any agreement the DPRK signed in the past and just violated anyway.

Trump is an indisputable failure of epic proportions.

Name one thing that helped the US with the Iran or Cuba deal? Go ahead. Try it....I am tired of giving things away for nothing.

Fact is...every other administration has blown smoke up the ass of the country and used the media to sell it to simple minds and it worked. For a looooong time.

Diplomacy is what you just saw in Singapore.

Y'all really need to make up your minds.

One can not, by any reasonable thought process, be both a warmonger and a surrender monkey, at the same time...

That takes mental gymnastics and political ideology to an entirely new level of, well, gymnastics.

Did I call him a warmonger? No. You are fake news.

No, he did not. He is about 6-8 inches taller than the Saudi king and as a gentlemen he made sure Salman could put it on. I know you story sounds better though.

Oh, and I heard Stormy was giving hand jobs to Kim's delegation but to rub it in Trumps face...
