So people talk about techniques and ideas surrounding bigfoot, ancient civilizations etc. Well I'd like to talk/ask about storm chasing.

Has anyone ever been and able to share stories?
How did you get into it?

I don't know.

Get as close as you can to the nastiest tornado you can find? Doesn't seem like a good idea.

Read the Storm Chasing Handbook by Tim Vasquez to start. There’s plenty of others, too. Check out the forum stormtrack.org. Attend some local storm spotter training sessions in the spring. Get some knowledge before you head out full force into a storm.
