A masterpiece article from Politico that depicts how a whole staff of people in the White House do their jobs.

At meager pay rates, these people met their match when Trump came in.

Trump is a paper ripper upper !!

The team of scramblers are tasked with sifting through ripped up paperwork and using tape to re-assemble and preserve important Presidential archives !!

One man even describes how Trump tore apart a letter from Senator Chuck Schumer of all people 😃

Can't wait for the lawsuits and FOIA requests !!

Meet the guys who tape Trump's papers back together

Solomon Lartey spent the first five months of the Trump administration working in the Old Executive Office Building, standing over a desk with scraps of paper spread out in front of him.

Lartey, who earned an annual salary of $65,969 as a records management analyst, was a career government official with close to 30 years under his belt. But he had never seen anything like this in any previous administration he had worked for. He had never had to tape the president’s papers back together again.

Armed with rolls of clear Scotch tape, Lartey and his colleagues would sift through large piles of shredded paper and put them back together, he said, “like a jigsaw puzzle.” Sometimes the papers would just be split down the middle, but other times they would be torn into pieces so small they looked like confetti.

a boring yet relaxing video...

Under Trump the National Debt has gone down.

Democrats are using that savings to buy scotch tape.

If you want our President to fail.

You need to take a long look at yourself.

We are an extremely wealthy Country,

If we quit giving people that hate us billions.

We could end poverty in our Nation...

If you want our President to fail, then never criticize anything he does. I'm speaking now to the people that are for him. What the opposition says never matters to a politician. And thats what he is now. Winning isnt just about beating the other team, making them look like the dolts they are, pissing them off. "Winning" is about saving the nation, saving our species. The two of which have never been staring down double barrel shiite machine gun they way they are...

$60,000 for work that shouldn't even be necessary. The fact that Trump refuses to quit ripping documents up despite being told not to goes to show he cares nothing about preserving the history of his administration. What a total waste of taxpayer money to pay people to piece together papers he could easily leave intact. What a brat.

If you want our President to fail.

Don't you know that people have been wanting presidents to fail for centuries? I mean look at Bush and Obama.

Lartey, 54, and Young, 48, were career government officials who worked together in records management until this spring, when both were abruptly terminated from their jobs.

So what? It says nothing about Trump not ripping up documents that are meant to be preserved by law. The article says they were terminated this spring and were still taping up documents as late as spring, so obviously Trump is still doing it albeit with different workers.

I'm not sure how the article puts anything in a good light for Trump.

Executive Order 13489 - Issued by President Barack Obama on January 21, 2009, restored the implementation of the PRA of 1978 as practiced under President Reagan's Executive Order 12667 and revoked President Bush's Executive Order 13233.[2][3]

lol. A useless executive order from a useless President. lol. I don't think we need to worry about spending the money to pay someone to do this, when Trump just issues another executive order to undo this. So for all of you complaining about how this is a waste of money......Thx Obama.

Yes and no.

The amount of hope for failure is unprecedented. Bill Maher hopes for another recession even. There are people that do not want peace between the Koreas if anything to do with Trump is attached to it, and people are willing to pay more money out of pocket than keep it because Trump gave it to them. Can you believe that?
