As someone pointed out, dismiss can mean to not give it any worthy consideration. So the headline is accurate but it could have been better worded.

BTW, would he do the same to reporters from Fox News? If not then he's an hypocrite.

CNN hates Trump.

People hate the awful, negative things does and what he's doing, that's why there is negative coverage (but they do give him props on the rare occasion he peeps through the storm clouds). And their job is to hold him accountable and report it, unlike others are doing.
