Go see which one of these alleged shifting alliances has actually pulled their boots off the ground in Syria or their air from the sky, none of them. The real guage of alliances is where the soldiers are committed to. Yammering on about trade is basic politics. The leaders have to appear outraged, the truth is no doodoo's are given by either side. It's All a play anyways, with a script at that.

With the exception of Japan, all the other countries involved have serious domestic issues, and conflicts to deal with. They are really not in a position of strength when dealing with Trump on trade issues, and he knows it. They will fall in line after throwing a hissy fit.

Usually troop commitments survive international squabbles, as they typically span multiple administrations, and are built on decades of cooperation.

That just doesn’t get old.

I have never actually enjoyed listening to a President before Teump. He is also spot on with his response.

Except he didn't dismiss the question - he answered it fully and made the CNN fake news reporter look like the slimy fool he is.

I was not correcting you. Just making it known what one of the definitions of "dismiss" are.

In this case, Fox News is correct to say he dismissed the question, due to it's source.

He still answered it, but he did not seem to take it very seriously because it was CNN.

Nice attempt, but major fail! You were so quick to jump on the "bash Trump bandwagon" you didn't even take the time to find out what really took place. Then you make an embarrassing attempt to cover your tracks by posting the definition.

Be honest about it, you didn't know he actually answered the question. How do I know?

If you knew he actually answered the question you would never have said

If the answer is that simple, which it is not, why wouldn't Trump just answer it or move on?
