The removal of the federal Ban may not be in support of legalisation it may be in support of official recognition as a medicine...which changes everything but keeps MJ available to everyone who is an adult who requests it from their Doctor as a prescription-on-demand.

trump says he supports stuff and doesn't follow through. he also says he supports stuff then later denies it, then later might say he supports it again or is now opposed.

Good for him. Until the 20th century, regulating chemicals (or firearms) was entirelly unheard of and ludicrous.

The government has no right to regulate any such items, simply because the Constitution doesn't give it any such power. Therefore, any ban or regulation or these items/substances is a usurpation of power never explicitly permitted to government.

Time to take the "liberal democracy" part out of our government.
