You are absolutly right its easy to understand if you read the law, which is why many crying about this have obviously not read the damn thing.

Here it is for you. Notice the first line and a couple of very important words "knowingly and willingly".

"or" is not inclusive.

But "is" is.

I am sorry can you actually have a conversation and post a reply relevant and thoughtful?

Are you talking about the second part of the first line? "uses in any manner prejudicial to the safety or interest of the United States"?

Because please tell us what you think. Memes and BS dont equal thoughtful discussion despite your obvious feelings on the matter.

If "yes", then what is your response ?

If "no", then what is your response ?

I am not playing games with you. Either say what your point is or just stop. Memes emojis and one line BS does not make you enlightened but it does beg the question how are you allowed to post still. ATS used to have standard posting rules that you replies fail nearly every single time.

(a) Whoever knowingly and willfully communicates, furnishes, transmits, or otherwise makes available to an unauthorized person…Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.

Where the ellipsis starts is where the “or”-s start. That is a standalone charge. Here’s just one example:

The emails dealt with the 2012 Benghazi attack and other issues in Libya...

Blumenthal did not have a security clearance when he received material from Clinton that has since been characterized as classified by the State Department.

It’s Wikipedia so they went as soft on her as humanly possible, of course, so I don’t imagine you object to the source.

That’s not the only Law she could be charged under either but you probably know that.

If she wasn’t “knowingly and willfully” then she was the stupidest Sec of State imaginable.

So she was unknowingly coerced into keeping classified information on machine which was unauthorized for such use?
