Magnetosphere A magnetosphere has many parts, such as the bow shock, magnetosheath, magnetotail, plasmasheet, lobes, plasmasphere, radiation belts and many electric currents. It is composed of charged particles and magnetic flux. These particles are responsible for many wonderful natural phenomena such as the aurora and natural radio emissions such as lion roars and whistler waves. The particles move and circulate about the magnetosphere and even generate storms. The magnetosphere changes constantly, even flipping its orientation every few thousand years.

Cool...................... I am leaning towards considering the Protective Shield as some sort of skin. Thinking of Gaia idea and Earth being one living creature, is there a possibility in your opinion that the skin might be this Shield?

To OP: I am not to sure where you are going with your statement that the earth's protective shield(s) as being like protective skin and the earth and forces being living creatures.

If you mean plasma orbs, that may be a possibility and can be classified as a UFO.

Thanks Could the orbs be part of the massive shield above our heads? Sort of like the orbs being a couple of threads that have fallen off a big textile fabric (the Shield) and have fallen below to ground level?

I suppose you are not thinking of ball lightning?
