Oh please please please post vids of the Crying Vegas Knights. I had to work so I missed the game and can't find highlights...or should I say 'crylights.'

^ Las Losers Knights be cryin' like this.

This is what you get for humiliating the team whose theme and logo you stole you bunch of bandwagon flake tools!

4-1??? Call that a series?

The only purpose for the rise to apparent success was for the bigger fall ouch!

Dude you sound like you're in the mudpit...grow up

Anyways, seems like Vegas' luck ran out...I'm happy for Ovi but man it was a pretty disappointing final...

It was no contest....Washington was by far the better team

For a brand new team to make it that far in their inaugural season -- which just 3 teams in the last 100 years have done, so snark at THAT -- I'd say they're still better at hockey than you are at mockery.

They earned the right to shed some. Which is more than can be said for the armchair commentators.

A loser is a loser is a loser.

Did they bring home a cup?

I'm gonna say...no

It doesn't make a s#in' lick of difference if they brought home the Cup or not, they're solidly down in Hockey History as the Third Team to ever pull off winning multiple playoff series in their first year. The Toronto Arenas did that in 1918 (won the Cup) and St Louis Blues in 1967 (made it to Finals) and share that very distinct honor. New puppy on the block pissing with the big dogs is a major accomplishment in it's own right.

An actual hockey fan knows the significance & appreciates how hard it is to accomplish. Try again, Sam.

Itll be interestign to see how Vegas fairs next year. They seem like a one hit wonder to me, but with Fleury in net I suppose they could be good again..

Vegas accomplished much in year 1...

I, however.. have been a Caps fan since '79, and I couldn't be more happy for them to finally break through and win the STANLEY CUP!!!!!!

Congrats Washington Capitals!!!!!!

No one deserved it more. I am happy Ovechkin--what with all he did for the sport--will be able to retire a cup winner.

Vegas entire team is made up of abrasive a-hole type players. Most teams have one, Vegas has a whole fleet of them. They lost because Washington has superior talent across the board. And remember Flowers always wilt in the dessert heat. Vegas want even make the playoffs next year...too many a-holes not enough paper.

How can you not respect the fug out of the knights? the players that teams let go for free, almost wins it all, and dominates the league. A bunch of them beat the teams that let them go in the playoffs. if someone made a movie about it you'd think it was bogus. It really goes to show how well a team can be, as opposed to some really good players playing together. that locker room when all of them first got together, they all probably gave eachother the wattup nod, and they all knew, hey were outcasts, were in this together to prove everyone else wrong. What an incredible story.
Happy for Ovi too though.

Yes, we'll never hear the end of the epic tale of a team that raced to the finish line and tripped.

I'd rather watch Cool Runnings if that's the plot.

(If anyone hasn't picked up, I'm deliberately being an uber jerk because LA got creamed.)

It really is a disappointing season for the knights legacy.
Being from a longstanding hockey town and all.

Wait, so what is their legacy?
It could only be better if they won, being lead by coach Tarkanian
