The usual left mantra. They did nothing for this lady and Trump did. Now it's Trump isn't doing enough. Same old song. There are bigger issues than individuals that might merit early release, in case you've forgotten.

Obama pardoned/commuted the sentence of 231 nonviolent drug offenders, in December of 2016 alone. Sorry, this lady wasn't among them. Most of the non-violent drug offenders Obama pardoned were in for Marijuana. This lady was in for coc aine, which, unlike marijuana, is responsible for many, many deaths.

Trump pardons/commutes 1 nonviolent drug offender, this lady, after a porn star strokes his ego. He did it as a favor for Kim Kardashian, just like he pardoned Jackson as a favor to Stallone. Trump said this himself.

In the meantime, Trump is putting 1600 ICE detainees, most of them asylum seekers, in federal prisons around the country. He's going to need to make some room for them. Reportedly, he looking pardon 3000 inmates soon, because, get this, according to him they were treated unfairly. So much for "law and order". Trump's pardons, other than the ones that are simply favors to his friends, have been motivated because he disagrees with the laws and the legal system that convicted them in the first place.

See, that's not what pardons are for. Pardons are an expression of mercy. They aren't meant to set wrongs right, or to make room for more people to be imprisoned "unfairly".

Pardons are pardons. Don't like it? Find a Democrat candidate, come up with a platform- one that puts the U.S. first, like they used to- and get him elected.

I also read that he wants to pardon Mohammed Ali for refusing to join the military in 1967 and not fighting in Vietnam, Ali being a conscientious objector. Four years later in 1971, the U.S. Supreme Court reversed that conviction by a unanimous vote.
