So... which emails?

They are letters, not emails.

Start at this link - warning it is a direct download
since you have stepped over the press release link twice.
Grassley.Sentate.Gov
That is a letter from McCabes attorney addressing the immunity request.

For these reasons, we urge this Committee to apply for a Court order compelling
Mr. McCabe's testimony and granting him use immunity. If this Committee is
unwilling or unable to obtain such an order, then Mr. McCabe will have no choice but
to invoke his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination.

So, give my client a get out of free jail card - or he says nothing.

its a catch22, give him immunity - then he simply lies his a$$ off and gives them red herrings

That's not how it works. Read the letter from McCabe's attorney. He's guilty and they know it. If the DOJ does not offer immunity they still have McCabe on lying and obstruction of justice. McCabe is screwed and he knows it. His ONLY option is to trade information for a plea deal.

Pleading the 5th is not going to keep him out of jail. They already have the evidence.

McCabe is also guilty of crimes in part2 and part3 of the IG Report. He helped get Hillary off the hook, and helped set up SPYGATE on Trump.

So there's a lot of incentive for him to cut a plea deal, in exchange for throwing as many bodies as he can under the bus.

Indeed, he was very much a part of the insurance policy. Also the HQ Special that he
gave "Her". He also took a boatload of money from a Hillary surrogate.

And there is in question the altered 302 with Yates.

Lots of extremely questionable activity!

Andy McCabe took in $538,000 from gullible GoFundMe supporters. Now, he potentially won't need the money after all?
twitter.com...

Is this even legal?

How can he do that and not declare it income?

It's legal and it is a grey area on whether it will be considered income or not. If it is then he will have to claim it and pay taxes on it as well. The IRS looks at large donations on a case by case basis so there's really no way to know until after the fact. It's a great point you bring up. It should be counted as income.

It just seems kind of shifty to take donations for legal
defense when he is asking for immunity. I suppose
if he declares it income, he would be mostly ok, that
is if his supporters don't mind the shiftyness.

Donations made to GoFundMe campaigns are usually considered to be "personal gifts" which, for the most part, aren’t taxed as income in the US.

The news reports are claiming the immunity is only from the testimony itself.

This is exactly what everyone testifying needs.

Yep.

Except it offers a great opportunity for McCabe to volunteer any and all information that he might think can be used against him - not for the sake of providing information to Congress, but for the sake of making it inadmissible in court.

That he should not be allowed to do.

The scope of the immunity should be very carefully considered - if the purpose is to protect McCabe from accidental perjury and accidental self incrimination due to poor choice of words (i.e. allowing him to not having to constantly carefully construct awkward and non-commitive phrasings) then that should somehow set the limits for the immunity.

(Having watched congressional hearings, I can totally see why that would need protection from that kind of perjury and self incrimination - in a court of law you have a counsel that can object to the line of questioning and a judge than can keep the opposing counsel in line. In hearings you have neither.)

My sentiments exactly.
Especially now, considering 2 years of sham FBI and SC investigations.

HOLY CRAP!!!

Gateway Pundit just dropped a bomb on this case.

Mike Flynn was a witness against McCabe in a sex discrimination case.

Special Agent Robyn Gritz had accused McCabe and other top agents of sexual harassment, and Flynn was a witness on her behalf. This was ongoing at the time when the Mueller investigation decided to indict Flynn.

It was a blatant conflict of interest for McCabe to have had anything to do with Flynn. Sure looks like McCabe was getting even when he altered the notes from Strzok's interview with Flynn. You know, the one where they didn't think Flynn was lying, but later decided to charge him with lying anyway?

No conflict of interest there... /end sarcasm

With each passing day the stink from DC can be smelled across the pond in Europe, but sure lets flip out because the orange weenie cheated on his wife, or said mean things.

Yesterday, they were flipping out because Melania texted a Russian bodybuilder.

I wish I was joking.

A fine example of IRONY and REAP WHAT YOU SEW.

That’s what former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe just found out, but he seems oblivious to the irony.

The bureau figure who was fired for leaking to the press is now complaining about how unfair it is that there are leaks from the FBI, at the same time as he’s demanding immunity in exchange for his testimony to the Senate committee investigating the bureau’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

So ....McCabe was using the FBI to carry out his own personal
vendetta's. Only jail time will teach these minions a lesson.
