Yeah, Fox news regularly creates false narratives, or even out right lies, for the purpose of vindicating their own political agenda... Its not exactly a revelation.

The bigger issue here, is why they play the national anthem in the US before a footy match in the first place? It seems a little to much like mass indoctrination to me.

And....
Your point is ?
Fox apologized. You will not get that from any of the other immoral networks . They would have just kept spoon feeding it to their folks until it stuck .

The other networks usually make corrections. Fox News never do that as far as I know. Heck they don't even use proofreader and spell checker.

You dont know far , do ya ?
Well , perhaps as far as the end of your nose ?

Someone translate this for me, please. Google translate shows gobblegook.

You said "as far as I know"
Which is speak for I really have no clue on the facts , I am just guessing.
They are old US words of wisdom.
I can see the need for some folks to seek the meaning.

I have been a regular reader of Fox News and I have been commenting on their comment sections for a long time. So I know what I am talking about. Perhaps it is you who cannot see further than your own nose.

And yes "as far as I know" means there is a possibility that Fox News DID make corrections on a few of their articles.

How anyone over the age of 25 can believe any MSM outlet is beyond me. They have all been caught propagandizing, misleading, omitting, and outright lying and making up stories for years.

The best we can hope for anymore is that their lies don't cost lives or freedoms. If it were up to me, every journalist that sold those "weapons of mass destruction" lies would be sharing the same cell as the ones that told us Obamacare would lower health care costs.

Then why not have led the statement off with something such as " With the information I have"
I havent used the old "I know you are , but what am I " gambit since the 5th grade .
"You are not entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to your informed opinion. No one is entitled to be ignorant." - Harlan Ellison

I leave it with that.

With the information I have

LOL. How is that any different from "as far as I know"?

But if it makes you happy, yes it's with what information I have since I can not find any evidence that Fox News has ever made corrections.

Yep, really crappy move by Fox here

Not that I am surprised, they suck and are pushing an agenda, and so they must fabricate mews when it doesn’t meet their narrative

In fact, if I’m not mistaken, I don’t think there were any issue with kneelers during the anthem at the Super Bowl

They “never” apologize?

And yet here you are, posting on a thread where they apologized

I guess that ended your theory quite quickly

Apologizing and making corrections are quite different things.

"To clarify, no members of the team knelt in protest during the national anthem throughout regular or post-season last year. We apologize for the error," he added

Shepard Smith isn't going to be happy about this.

FYI...Shepard Smith is now physically sick, in addition to mentally. Missed 2 weeks. Back now, and isn't himself. (I won't say what I'm thinking, beyond that.)

My bad, you did say make corrections

Nonetheless, fox made the correction here in the same statement they apologized in

The hypocrisy on Fox news almost equals the hypocrisy of Trump supporters on ATS.
i find it amusing. Almost like they should change the name to Fox/ATS....

It's ok. My point is that it seems more egregious for them not to make corrections even after shown they were wrong than a simply apology. But I do agree that they are making the right steps. There's hope for the MSM yet.
