Please don't put him in nappies though...

Little thing I just discovered about a Pyrenees. Mine is the same age but a male and would not eat unless I was home and often times that would worry me. So then I got to thinking maybe it is because his bowls were on the ground and due to the size of the breed eating food at ground level was hurting him. About 2 months ago he was 135lb but now he has a stand that is raised 1 1/2ft off the ground. He is now at 145 and eating when I am at work.

And DB that is one cute ball of fur you got there Have fun but remember to be PC with him. Don’t want to offend that little guy.

Congrats!!
German Shepherds are one of my favorite breeds of dog,they are smart and love having a role.
I have always wanted one but I don't have the right conditions or lifestyle to justify having a dog.
If I could,I would get a shepherd.

The best thing about pets is naming them!!
I rescued a kitten a few weeks back,I had him for about 2 weeks and named him Spaghetti. (I saw it on a movie once)
When I found a nice home for him,the girl had a good laugh.
I hope she kept the name.

Have fun naming him!!

Just to give an update;

This morning, at 4:30AM, Deckart decided to regal us with the songs of his people. Afterwards, my wife was kind enough to go the bathroom where he spent the night (tile floors, easy to clean) and placed our newest charge on my chest where he proceeded to detail the horrors of a night spent away from us.

After a successful potty outside, I quickly composed an Ode to his completion of his Herculean tasks.


He is now on a blanket at my feet so I cannot go anywhere without getting his permission first.

Spoil him rotten,gotta love your dog.Heres hoping for a long life full of chewed shoes,chased squirrels and many great memories made.
