I will put my ideal to the side and am willing to learn. So give it to me.

Ah, yes I get ya now and agree.

The ramifications are far different as I'm sure you can agree.

Very.

I just feel far worse for people who have no means. Dinesh may have been a victim of injustice but he certainly has the means to overcome it. Probably even sell a few more books.

My sarcasm comes from the 100's of thousands of people forgotten about who can't.

Something tells me.he isn't concerned about helping justice reform asuch as telling how he was a victim personally.

On one hand, yea, there are many, MANY, people who won't get a presidential pardon for being charged for far more serious crimes than they are guilty of. Prisons are literally packed with those injustices.

On the other, regardless of his social status and wealth, D'Souza was a felon and was denied all those rights that felons lose.

I also highly doubt he'll find his pardon an eye opener to the much larger problem and instead use it to push a partisan agenda. Literally nothing gained and that is the sad part.

He has the stage to say what happened to him.
He broke the law, but he suffered from his political beliefs.
That is helping "justice reform".

I get that. I am just a cynical crank.

I get po'd how these politicians get away with acting like saviors and then vote for the laws that screw us. Meanwhile we argue about parties and who sucks less.

The spying stuff is a perfect point. People are far more upset about Trump's rights than there own.

While I hope injustices do get overturned if they truly exist I also have a hard time taking people seriously who vote to take away the rights and then complain. Or are in power to do something and don't.

I was very upset with the Patriot act, then Obama using phone calls warrantless searches, then nsa Snowden revelations. Those were terrible. By the time it was trump I was like good at least it's not just us getting screwed....

Not really but almost. That's how little I believe the intentions of politicians.

I disagree. People don't relate one with the other. They just blame Obama.

Because worse was on the plate? Other crimes he'd committed? That's how plea deals work.

It has been mentioned already that Trump was going to pardon him. Now you can hear his side of the story. He was prosecuted for political reasons. Was forced to plead guilty or face years in prison.

Let's hope the Trump justice system makes Hussein a life long felon.

What a disgrace BO is/was to the US.

"Hussein"? Jesus. Still? Yahoo comments are the new ATS norm.
But go on dude, I'm sure your low-grade key mashing will garner some righty stars.

Besides, the "Trump Justice system" appears to be handing nothing but celebs, freeing up pay to players, and self-serving interests.

JC you'd think someone who comes off so self righteous would have a clue about the administration xey support.

Talk about low-grade.
