It has been mentioned already that Trump was going to pardon him. Now you can hear his side of the story. He was prosecuted for political reasons. Was forced to plead guilty or face years in prison.

That should not happen in The United States of America.

Same tactic used by Mueller against Flynn.

Disgusting.

He plead guilty because he was guilty. Simple as that, and if he accepts the pardon he is then accepting it again. Doesn’t matter what admin it happened under the act itself was illegal.

They tell us that it shouldn't happen. But it does all the time these days. Trump has dismantled this injustice. Hopefully more things like this will continue to happen.

Same tactic used by many prosecutors.

Usually has to go through an appeal process to be pointed out for what it is.

ETA: Outside of that appeal, I'm not sure what there is to combat the stacked deck that is criminal justice. It's a clever mix of legal extortion and blackmail.

Thats how plea deals work. If you know you cant beat the charges in court you take the lesser plea deal. Saves everyone time and money. And yes I know plea deals can be used to beat the poor into submission but I dont think a political insider and NYT-Bestselling author counts as poor.

How has he dismantled this injustice? Because to me it seems that he is making it seem ok to do so. Heck he is giving a pardon to someone that did do it. How in the boob is that fixing the problem?

Pleading guilty does not necessarily mean you believe you are guilty. The way the justice system works, you have to decide if the punishment for losing is worth the risk. Prosecutors will say you get five years if you plead guilty or 20 years if you lose. Some people rather do the five.

Dinesh pointed out that no one has ever been prosecuted for what he allegedly did...

These days? Somehow it's worse for celebrities and politicians?

The American people revere celebrities more than themselves.

Nsa is spying on us illegally. Crickets.

A politician was spied on by their own program...outrage.

Someone took a plea deal for a bag of weed and became an informant and was killed by a drug lord..Crickets.

A celebrity took a plea deal...outrage.

Probably start holding congress accountable for how they vote?

They usually convince the public they are the hero when they are in fact the problem.

8 months in a rich halfway house near his home in San Diego. 5 years probation and a $30,000 fine. Big whoop.

Flynn will get his pardon too, if his case isn't thrown out for being bogus.

The jealous and zealous Obama Adminiztration used all tactics available thinking they would never ever get exposed.

Marian Robinson's chicken sacrifices and Santeria spells have backfired into a flaming boomerang.

Really? Simple google searches show others have been in trouble with the law over straw donations. So why is Dinesh lying?
