Forgive me if i'm wrong, but didn't Jesus ride into Jerusalem on a Donkey?

John 12:15
"Do not be afraid, O daughter of Zion. See, your King is coming, seated on the colt of a donkey."

Beware of false prophets.

Dont be silly !'Jesus wouldn't be riding a donkey

Seriously that is a honest to god quote from that POS.

You're not alone. I was raised very religious but Billy Graham religious. But I grew up and read alot and learned the truth of what fear of the unknown does to people.

It saddens me that with all the available education and exposure of these frauds people, and I mean milliions, are stlll so gullible.

It's that fear of what happens after death I know; fear of hell. If we could just figure out the life after death issue this fascination with "religiosity" would go away.

Freely given money by the gullible, unlike politicians exploiting the taxpayer.

4th jet needed in case the others are in for maintenance.

hahahaha

A US televangelist has asked his followers to help fund his fourth private jet - because Jesus "wouldn't be riding a donkey".

I just... gotta.

Matthew 21:1-5 New International Version (NIV)
21 As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.”

4 This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:

5 “Say to Daughter Zion,
‘See, your king comes to you,
gentle and riding on a donkey,
and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’'

Money grubbing con man says what, again?

And if me, an atheist can point out this obviousness, how come the congregation *cannot*.

Starred for progressiveness alone, and I voted The Don.

Maybe our parson should have hung with more guys that
don't just own their own rockets, but fly them.
Although I don't know if rubbing up against Travolta
(Scientologist) would warp the tool even more ...

PS I haven't heard anything quite that outside since
Gary Green (old Giant) got the Three Friends going:
and were looking for a contrabuffoon.
NEXT. Don't hurt him, I love him

Jesus likes German engineering.

He does however like Italian wine and food.

What do you think Mohamed would go for?

People are gullible. IMHO, a sizable number of preachers are out right con men.

Having seen the finances of a couple of preachers up close, they are a shady group.

This is one of my favorite videos... a preacher getting grilled in a deposition about his extravagant spending of church funds.

Who is this guy? I'd like to look up what happened with this in the end.

Wow, what a conman. Shame on his congregation for falling for it too.

Where is his call to followers to dig deep to help out the homeless by building shelters? Daycares? Donations to those who have had family emergencies and are broke? Disaster relief?

Nah... needs that fourth jet so he can go rooting around for more gullible people to fork over their hard earned money to him for that fifth jet and his summer home.

Nope.

Jesus deserves a Porsche, a mansion and a circular driveway.

So dig deep, deep, deep into your pockets for Jesus.

I mean really, $54 million is good value. It's not like the poor preacher has asked for a superyacht to get to those island followers.

I think he already owns a yacht. I saw a photo of him showing off framed pictures of his fleet. There were 4 pictures. 3 jets and one yacht.

His name is David Taylor. Class A buffoon... here he is claiming he'd never misuse God's resources! LOL. People who give these con men money deserve to lose everything.

I just had a look at the videos. You know, if people are gullible enough to buy this crap I kind of feel like they deserve it.

You can see it in him right of the bat. This guy is a complete sleezeball and it's oozing from every pore.

He doesn't seem like the smartest guy either. I can't for the life of me understand how someone like this douche pulls it off. Unbelievable.

Where do they find these gullible morons?

As the bible states ... 'Beware of false prophets." God told him he needs another jet? If anyone believes that, then they're truly gullible. These preachers should be living a simple life, not living in mansions if they want to be taken seriously.

Preachers choose to ignore the many biblical passages warning against the detrimental effects of wealth—and especially love for wealth. You don’t hear prosperity preachers mention such verses. It’s as if their Bibles are missing them.

In my opinion, religion was created to control man and to others it's a way of making them wealthy at the hands of gullible believers. These preachers and priests are no better than you or I. I don't need a church leader or a religion to believe or have faith in my God.
