You don't have to make up "fake news" to smear Donald Trump, the man's life is one big smear. the party of family values would vote in Satan himself if he pandered to the lowest common denominator the way trump does.

The real story is, if we’re to believe Trumps numbers of over 8000, then the fire codes were violated, as the maximum capacity was 7,500 to 8,000.

And we HAVE to believe what Trump says because he just called out the New York Times for lying..and I guess the fire marshal is lying too when they said around 5500 turned up, not over 8000. Or was it 12000?

What fun times we live in.

Yea, but in all honesty can you say the market for the divisiveness is equitable for the Obama and Trump admin? Furthermore, would it not be pertainent to express that the pushers are more mainstream and sources people have relied on for what they thought was legit information for decades?

The difference is people expect Trump to boost numbers, but you don't expect what people consider legitimate sources to report a lie reduction to 1/5th. I expect it, but not people that have used and trusted these news organizations, and relied on their factuality to remain constant in their beliefs. There is no denying people clasp to what they consider a good source to validate their stance.

3000 is 300% more than 1000.

Thats really, really far off. Stand by it or not.

About something meaningless? Re-read your post and mine and tell me thats an apt response to what I said in its entirety. So is Trump all the sudden not egotistical for the purpose of this debate?

He's expected to boost numbers...read...lie about the numbers you say?

I expect a president to stick to facts too, not just newspapers.

You're making excuses for Trump lying and bagging the new york times for lying at the same time.

Hypocritical much?

The woman's tweet is pretty spot-on. We have nearly a whole generation being raised to hate one side of the political spectrum or the other, they have been taught that to be either left or right is reprehensible and that one side or the other is less than human than they are.

We won't see the true effects of the past few years until the younger generation grows up and carries those "values" (hate) they were brought up believing into the real world. It's a scary thought.

Oh, and about NYT lying, I'm not surprised one bit, they're propaganda masquerading as a news agency, much like every other major news outlet whether "mainstream" or online. And yes, Breitbart and the like can be considered mainstream with the following they have behind them.

Moral to that story is STAY NEUTRAL. Don't get sucked in to hate.

Stick to the facts that we should debate.

What bothers me most is one side, for the last 20 years or so now, are so full of lies and hate that it is forcing people to choose a side. People like me and love others, choose any who are on the side of those who practice freedom for all and that is not from the elected Uniparty members.

Here is an idea:

Name the good ones of the D or R Party if we can. We might have to do a thread on that.

So you thought Trump becoming president would magically transform his person into being humble? Is there really a fact to be had here? Or just projections? Did they do a count of attendance or are we all discussion potentials? Was one who has been seen as trusted sources for decades more wrong than our egotistical president?

Doing the opposite is not hypocrisy though?,.. hmm

Which one is the king of fake news? Breitbart or Info Wars?

That is a trick question. You don't want to know the real truth.

Easily it is CNN..... the NBC network like the one we call BSNBC here and others call MS LS D are giving every lie that kicks the can the way they want it to go just as vigorously as CNN.

Those two seem to be more accurate every day when you confirm their view. Not perfect and I don't like "Doom Porn" from info wars but factually they come thru time and again.

Could it also just be as likely that Trump screwed up his estimate or the person who gave him the estimation?

Would you extend the same justification to the group that have the smaller margin of error?

Yeah I’m pretty sure Trump screwed up his estimate. That was part of my assumption math in the first post.

He is estimating based on the crowd size total. The media is not showing us pictures of the crowd size on the street.

I found this but had to alter my query.

www.newschannel5.com...

Huge crowd trying to get in like at the Kentucky Derby a few weeks back.

The report was the streets were packed and only so many were allowed in due to the security check process being slow and once the POTUS came on stage it was over for entry's. A Fire Marshall in a liberal city like Nash-vegas might fudge down but I am going with the FM # of 5500 inside. Probably more than that outside.

It’s not about a lack of being humble, it’s about blatant lying.

If you’re going to call out the New York Times for getting the numbers wrong, you must also call out Trump for getting the numbers wrong.

As with most things, the truth is somewhere in the middle, and that would be the fire marshal’s numbers.

If you know people are terrible at estimating things like crowd size, why do you expect the media to get it right?

I would accept your argument if not for the fact that it consistently seems as though they underestimate for one side, and overestimate for the other.

I think further to this is when they also use photographs to push their perspective, by way of framing the shot to suit their agenda. I remember that happening quite often during the election (probably the better known is Hillary standing on a platform in front of a 'large crowd' that turned out to be only a few rows deep - Ohio, by memory???).

In summary, their 'poor estimation skills' always support their agenda, which is usually backed up with biased reporting and misleading photographs.

(bing!!)
Best post on this topic. Well written and 100% factual. That stuff is forcing us who follow the truth to ponder the meaning of such consistency.

You want to talk about scary, I have a scary tale... You dismissing his statement, his point was kids are being raised ( kids as in people absorbing information to use later in life when left to navigate alone) and used to pick a side. I know you won't see it but you plainly state " one side is so bad, you are forced to pick a side... To hate"

When obama was reelected i pointed out on ats that there was an enlarging chasm between the urban and rural folks of this nation.

Its where we are today. Left/right is an ignorant medias take on urban/rural.

In a statement, Michael Glassner, chief operating officer of Trump's campaign, said Trump "hosted over 8,000 patriotic Americans at our rally in Nashville."

Or

“You know we have an event. I hear we have 12,000 people there. They have 12,000 seats. We have 12,000 people,” Trump said according to an audio record obtained by the USA TODAY NETWORK-Tennessee.
