Why we are not hearing about it, except on CNN and MSNBC and reported by the NYT and Washington Post and...

This is excellent news and long, long overdue. People get a shot at a cure, or at least something to extend their lives somewhat with quality, and the researchers get data on testing.

The current method is slow and ponderous and often results in drugs that are still harmful in that they can make you feel worse than what they're trying to fix or can kill you. Let people decide. If they're terminal, then no one is being harmed as long as it was totally voluntary.

How does allowing only the terminally ill to try the experimental drugs equate to them fast tracking anything to market? You seem to think that a little deregulation is going to amount to 0 regulation, and that perhaps one fluky case of someone being cured is automatically going to mean its put on the market the next day.

Isn't it enough that something good just happened to the country?

Hmm, interesting. This can be a good thing "if" it isn't abused by pharmaceutical companies pushing out untested or dangerous drugs on "guinea pigs".

I wonder if there is a clause in there to protect patients or restrict their rights. FDA is known for banning drugs, vitamins and treatments that actually work so will this change all that or just help them add onto the list?

Well considering the FDA approves cigarettes I don't think it really matters what these people put in their body in a bid to stay alive. The FDA is just another ineffectual government entity in my opinion. The drugs they've approved have created an epidemic. So long as this doesn't drive the opioid crisis I'm fine with it.

Anyone that throws enough crap out is bound to have something stick.

Trump is always in it, in some way, for his benefit.

Which is "WHY he does something" is a need to know.

Why would she do that? It was heavily covered on all major news outlets.

So let me understand you here... you're saying that this bill is a good thing, unless somehow somewhere it helps Trump; then it's a bad thing?

Government is of people. Trump got voted in by Americans. He is leading our country so we have the right to question him. This is not monarchy.

You need to read what I say.

Instead of trying to interpret it into what you think I said.
