That is incorrect.

Perhaps you need to read about the Saturday Night Massacre, Nixon, his articles of impeachment, specifically article 1 section 4, and how his actions (pushing to fire a special prosecutor) became part of the impeachment charges.

nterfering or endeavouring to interfere with the conduct of investigations by the Department of Justice of the United States, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the office of Watergate Special Prosecution Force, and Congressional Committees;

Trump has said he wont fire mueller or try to fire him so....there goes your theory on addin tthat to impeachment charges.

Weird post.

Trump has no legal authority to fire Mueller.

That is the whole premise of the Special Counsel.

Rosenstein can fire Mueller.
Sessions can fire Mueller if he un-recuses.
Trump can fire both Sessions and Rosenstein if they don't fire Mueller like he tells them to.
Whoever becomes Acting AG or Acting Deputy AG can fire Mueller.
But Trump can't fire Mueller.

It is like saying Trump assured people he would not flap his arms and fly.

You are wrong.

Trump has all legal authority to fire anyone involved in a cointel op..

However if mueller was investigating trump then he could not fire him.

You choose is it a counter intel operation or is it an investigation of trump?

rock and hard place

That is dumb.

Answer is neither.

Hard to respond to posts that have no reality tether.

Gowdy is that you again?

Shillin like a villain

keep playin dumb cause it suits you

Is there some ATS Idiot of the year award I am unaware of that you are competing for?

Pretty sure this is no longer a cointel investigation. Mueller was authorized to investigate criminal matters. The scope has widened significantly under the special counsel. Not sure why that's so difficult to comprehend.

It is not difficult it is illegal.

We have this thing called the constitution that dictates what can and can not happen.

Changing the scope or type of investigation is not really legal in this case.

The founders seen this bs a mile away and knew peeps would try these types of attacks on our representative democracy.

Sorry, there isn’t a thread on this site that contains any info to cast legal doubt on the legitimacy of the special counsel’s investigation. It’s perfectly legal, and it’s moving forward.
And there’s nothing you can do about it.
Deal with it.

Or you could run, don’t walk, to the DOJ and say ‘Here, see? You have to shut down this investigation at once!! A bunch of conspiracy nuts know the law and constitution better than you do!’

Their reply? ‘Another Trump supporter, eh?’

You should read up on the Manafort's motions and judge Ellis of that case. Your opinion is not correct.

That is for the courts to decide. Things look bad for Manafort, but he knows his employers would literally kill him if he turns. Like they.tried with Skripal.

Judge Berman in the other trial has already tossed out those same objections. If Ellis rules the other way, there will indeed be conflicting rulings, but I’m not going to hold my breath. The documentation spelled out Mueller’s authority to prosecute Manfort.

Keep in mind that Manfort’s objections aren’t centered around the legitimacy of the special counsel in general, but to his case in particular. They’ve got him by his corrupt balls, and as his objections get thrown out one by one, and the bills add up, he may just start thinking about finking....

Either way, the investigation is legitimate and will proceed.

Every time he was required to report he brought a doctor's note. His father had influence. If he wanted to serve, his father could have gotten him a posting. In fact, if he were thinking ahead he could have arranged a safe posting, like Bush and Gore got.

I think after the 1st time that would be it and stop calling him up for the same war.

Now I could believe the 5 times if it were for 5 different wars.

So just a doctors note would get you out of the draft, eh? 5 times in a row, even.

Was it the same note? The military doesn't check?

Boy, I bet them kids that moved to Canada feel really stupid.

Never fails. Bad news for Team Trump? Deploy whataboutism about Hillary!

You're damned right. Why hasn't her a$$ been indicted or thrown in jail yet?! Why do you think Hillary's been wearing a bullet proof vest under her clothes everywhere she turns up these days?!!

Last I checked they said that there wasn't enough of a case to indict her, but you already knew that and are just judging her guilty without a trial (which is unamerican).

Are you really that ignorant? Why do you think the Inspector General is investigating how the FBI handled the case in the first place? SMH

The guys were criminals. Career criminals. Mafia. Henchmen. Minions of the mob. Runners.

Don't #ing use the constitution as a weapon.
The guys were convicted in a court of law. By a jury.
All the rules were followed.
This is our imperfect justice system.
Do you go to the mat for every case where the defendant claims they are innocent?
The prisons have nothing but innocent people in them.
Now start a thread if you want.
This isn't what this thread is about.

And I should point out that your story never mentions Robert Mueller but you know...

Because they have been ordered to by a weak minded, narcissistic president who wants to utterly destroy anyone who does not flatter him.
