What you speak of is egregious. A coke addict. Most woman are smarter than this and don’t give the courts this type of ammo to give the kids to the father. Lying is the majorities ammo. My ex spent 3 days purgering herself on the stand. My lawyer made it clear to the judge she was a liar. The judge didn’t care. Unless you’re a drug addict (or something else egregious), the woman always gets the kids.

It's easy to invent a bogeyman to fear and ridicule online, but these people rarely exist in real life. The few examples that are usually found are generally outliers and it is pretty easy to avoid associating with these people. Most people are generally normal. Sure you may not be compatible or they may not find you as an acceptable mate, but that doesn't mean you should write off the whole gender after a few bad times.

Agreed

I only ever see stuff like this online, sure I've seen some female friends maybe being bitches, same as I've seen male friends being pricks to their partners, but the horror stories, nope, not one in 'real' life. Everyone in my social circle tries to get on and be decent to each other.

I've got a female friend split with my male friend when their baby was only aged one, he often sees me round her place putting up shelves or whatever and having a glass of vino with her when he picks the little one up for his 'custody' time. We're all still mates and it ain't ever awkward.
If she's being a bitch I'll tell her, and same for him if he's being a prick at times lol, that's just people.

Then you are one of the lucky ones. Too many women see the opportunity to control and dominate using the court systems. And the temptation to take that control is too overwhelming than to be fair with their ex.

I think my threads do a fantastic job of highlighting the breakdown of the social fabric of the western world largely due to moral relativism

" The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth" - African proverb

The pursuit of individual financial wealth has essentially replaced our entire culture and everyone only seeks to enrich themselves

Its evident in the crass nature in which we speak to each other and the way we view others with opposing ideologies

This is called moving the goal posts back.

I like how you toot your own horn. You’re a true alpha dog. We should be friends

Now let’s piss everyone off: I’m good looking too

All my mates have good working relationships with their ex's, mothers of their children.
Maybe it's a cultural thing, our divorce cost us £50 for the forms and a few hours filling them in, and UK benefits are pretty generous with kids so screwing the partner for all their money is unusual, to me anyway.
Me and mother of my child both worked full-time all through his life, I even went to university and got myself a BSc, although we both had to lie that I was primary carer so I could get the enhanced student funding lol

You have obviously never been through a divorce / custody battle. I hope you never have to. Of coarse, your convictions make me wonder if it’s in your future. I once was very convicted on this topic. Look what happened to me....

Sounds awful mate.
I've been thinking since my last reply maybe there is the element that in US culture going to court and getting lawyers is much more of a thing than here in Britain. Nobody I know who has split with the parent of their child has gone to court, just informal arrangements. I only had to go to court for the formal divorce, but we had no lawyers leeching any money out of us. £50 and a load of filling in forms.

Again though welfare/housing/benefits are generous here so in a friendly 'ex' relationship everyone is happy, if the 'primary carer' is not working then they still get financial help from the one who is working, just don't declare it to the authorities lol

In the US you vindictively bankrupt your ex with court cost that the husband has to cover

Sounds awful, effectively lawyers taking the coin from the kids piggy bank.
Definitely a different culture regarding getting lawyers in compared to here.

I’d argue that the infantilization of men has had a far greater impact on their life success than any feminist ideology to date. That men would “go their own way” into video games and porn rather than ambition and self-betterment is evidence of this.

Why wasn’t I born in Britain damnit! I would give anything to be like ‘Sunshine of the spotless mind’ and have no memory of it. Not a day goes by that I’m not tormented by it. All I ever wanted was to have a family, be a dad. It truly makes me sick when I do see crappy fathers with their kids in their lives. There are so many of us good fathers that have it all ripped away from us — and then we are left holding the huge bill.

And yes, lawyers are scum. Maybe I could have won if their greed didn’t get in the way. So much bad advice, that only padded their pocketbooks. I had one in AZ that took 6k to literally accomplish nothing. Promises promises promises

ETA: oh yeah, forgot about how I had to pay for the exes lawyer bills too. They call it a ‘China Doll affidavit’ whatever the hell thats supposed to mean... Thanks for all the lies AZ Lawyer.

Seems lame to me as well, women are a massive part of my life socially. I can't imagine 'going my own way' lol, I'd miss drinking wine and talking fashion while my female friends cook me food and I put shelves up for them and stuff.
I don't think it's a generational thing either, my early twenties son has lots of female friends and has been living with his beau together the last 8 months.
I asked him, and he pissed laughing at this MGTOW thing, maybe it's cultural because every Brit bloke I've asked has laughed as well.

MGTOW tenant #1....self improvement.

One can not improve one's total self by delving deeper into games and porn. If anything, MGTOW reduces the number of men doing so, relative to some of the other movements.

It's a fair argument, but then you have to look at how those particular men were raised. There's a very good chance they were raised by single mothers who didn't know how to raise them as men, instead they raised them how they felt men should be. Then, when those boys try to be what their mothers raised them to be, they get taken advantage of and mistreated. After so many times, unless they learn what to look out for and avoid, many of them just give up and don't deal with it anymore.

That's pretty much how I was. It took me many years to stop being the "white knight" my mom raised me to be. Even my mom apologized to my brother and I a few years back. She said she wanted to make sure we didn't treat women the way she was treated, but she forgot to teach us how to protect ourselves from the bad women.

Then you have a very flawed misunderstanding of MGTOW.

My son introduced me to MGTOW. I now consider myself "one of them".

I am married with 3 children, my wife and daughter have noticed the changes in my overall happiness since I joined with my son. Going your own way is not fundamentally based on shutting women out of your life. It is fundamentally based on doing what I need to do, followed by doing what I want to do for me. Yes, there have been bumps along the way, but overall it has been highly beneficial for my marriage.
