Are You still moaning about something you clearly have no idea or
understanding about. A reporting "ban" doesn't work like you say it does. You really need to read peoples posts instead of blindly following your own agenda to belittle the British legal system. It may not be perfect but we don't let the media circus decide if some one is guilty or innocent.

Yep, no media circus in fornt of the court of accused child sex offenders while the trial is going on or about to begin.

I am somewhat disturbed by the support for this muppet. The man's a criminal who uses a fake name and who co-founded a failed political movement that is now composed of former football hooligans and other assorted trash.

Im disturbed by a community of people that have admitted thousands of children have been raped for decades, and that in many cases not only was the authorities turning a blind eye to this, but they were sanctioning the few authorities that spoke up, and treating the victims like guilty prostitutes, and yet have more animosity for a man speaking up about this than the rapists themselves.

Here here brother!!

I've spent a lot of time in the UK and Ive found a majority of people there are very dedicated to being the best PC 'toe-the-line' automatons they can be.

Look how many idiots spoke in support of the UK gov't blocking Alfie Evans' parents from taking him to Italy.

UK is a failed state to be honest. I really used to respect the British spirit, but there's so little genuine freedom defending Brits left it's truly sad.

Plenty of Brits come in here defending their ridiculous government, but the reality that they in fact know and are struggling to force out of their minds, is that in 50years, genetically European British people will be less than 50% of the population. I've witnessed the dramatic change in the UK since the 90's myself, with my own eyes, riding buses and tube around the city.

Reality is nonsense like this: Islamic-teacher-sexually-abused-11yr-old-no-jail-time-because-hes-on-benefits-&-wife-doesnt-speak-English

SIX KIDS GROWING UP UNDER THE TUTELAGE OF THAT FILTH

How the hell you can you libe in ENGLAND, and not speak ENGLISH????? PC experts please go shove it, I learned functional JAPANESE in 3 WEEKS during my first trip there with only 2 days of previous reading on basic Japanese. Language immersion is the easiest way to learn, and if you live in a nation but don't speak it's primary language, you are ACTIVELY ISOLATING yourself from it's people and language.

I have visited 42 countries and made every effort to respect and understand their cultures and traditions.

Reality is this crap is a real problem in the UK, it's absolutely epidemic, yet most Brits are just professional denialists and will ride their stupid ship to the bottom!

I'm struggling to understand what 'genetics' has to do with being British? Is their a British gene? I thought that being British was down to the accident of birth?

"You have no proof he is racist"

Aside from his racist tweets/txt and the crap that spews out the Mans puss.

Never mind his previous involvement with the EDL.

No proof whatsoever.

You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

What is it with all these Yanks slagging off the UK for it's immigration policies?

The US is populated entirely by immigrants except Native Americans and what percentage of the US population do they make up, I wonder?

So he was arrested, charged and sentenced in like 4 hours over something he might do... not something he did?

If that's the truth I am astonished... and a little horrified.

Yea, that's the disturbing thing about this. These people who believe Nazi's are around every corner and everyone who disagrees with them is a racist are openly applauding a government who is just snatching people off the street for speech!
Stalin and Mao would be very proud of this BS....

He was sentenced quickly because he pleaded guilty and was already on a suspended sentence for the same charge, contempt of court. His broadcast on facebook was done in front of the defendants, and the jurors and this could have led to contamination of the jury, giving cause for a mistrial. Justice needs to remain blind, or we may swell not have it at all. He hasn't been silenced.

I mean it's not hard to go and find out how English law works, we have the biggest library in history at our fingertips, but instead of finding out facts on a subject, it gets used for porn, streaming TV, watching cats play keyboard and spreading hate.

Yep it’s disgusting

And if there are any people that feel otherwise, they are wrong and cheering on authoritarianism just like those cheering Tommy’s arrest

I find it hilarious how the people making excuses for Tommy’s arrest change their story

First it was you couldn’t comment on court cases ongoing because it biases jurors

That was wrong

Then it was filming outside a courthouse that was the problem

When shown others doing that, the goalposts are again moved

Now we are in to the suspenses sentence being the problem

I have responded to this several times, and yet people ignore it and just proudly proclaim that this obviously shows his arrest was justified

There are several problems with this

1. The judge from his suspended sentence said that the mere act of filming defendants outside the court would have been contempt, which is why the judge brought the defendants in the back

Thus his suspended sentence being used to answer the absurdity and selectiveness of his arrest doesn’t work, because he was initially sentenced for something that many other people have done in the uk

2. The suspended sentence was only to be reinstated if Tommy was found in contempt of court again

In other words, this suspended sentence had absolutely nothing at all to do with Tommy being charged with contempt for his Facebook live video, which the judge ruled in its own was a crime

3. Reports from people in the court for Tommy’s arrest said the judge specifically said the suspended sentence was not a factor in finding Tommy guilty of contempt

Yet no one responds to these points

They just answer everything with “it’s so simple, he was on a suspended sentence, so it’s legit”

Well it seems quite clear that is not the case

It was a typo, I meant the uk

And you well know that other people have filmed outside court cases in the UK

No one us making excuses you are just continuing with your, I would assume deliberate, refusal to understand what has already been explained to you multiple times.

He was found in contempt of court in the first instance for multiple reasons. Filing in court building, not stopping when told to. Referring to the accused as if they were guilty.

He was then in contempt for a second time for flouting reporting restrictions on an ongoing trial.

Both occasions he pled guilty.
