Even though the article in the OP is tounge in cheek it still raises some valid questions. If everyone is against all child trafficking everywhere, then this shouldn’t be an off limit avenue of investigation.

Investigation? Did you read the article? The only thing this article stated was that separating illegal immigrant adults from children COULD result in child sex trafficking. It didn't say it was happening. This article is only trying to get you to believe that it might happen.

Here's what's really going on...

Rick Santorum said Sunday that the roughly 1,500 migrant children whom the government has lost track of aren’t lost.

During a panel discussion on CNN’s "State of the Union," the former GOP senator from Pennsylvania claimed that the children are not missing just because the government doesn't currently know where they are.

“They were placed in vetted homes,” Santorum said of the children. “The question is, they haven’t had communication with these previously vetted sponsors. Does that mean that they’re lost? No.”

thehill.com...

This is all more hype from the left because they're desperate and just want to play more games.

Also, a bunch of documents were just released through FOIA which detail Epstein’s connections, including the name Donald Trump mentioned a few times. Wait until people read through all of those.

LOL! If it wasn't for Bill Clinton, Epstein's a$$ would still be sitting in prison. No one is closer to Jeffrey Epstein than Bill Clinton and no one has made as many trips to Orgy Island than him either!

Trump and the Clintons use to be buddies. remember? Wouldn't it be ironic if slick willy ratted out Cadet Bonespurs?

LOL! Clinton doesn't have any credibility to rat out anyone at this point in time!

The part from the article in the OP that concerns me (for the countless people who won’t read the article before responding):

April 26, 2018: During a Senate hearing, Steven Wagner, acting assistant secretary of Health and Human Services’ Administration for Children and Families, says that the department has lost nearly 1,500 unaccompanied minors who had been placed in homes or facilities since being picked up at the border. Over a thousand human beings lost, like luggage, a cellphone or a fancy hat. Our government can track what porn sites ISIS, or the Islamic State, is clicking on in the mountains of Afghanistan, but can’t find 1,500 kids in America? What’s worse, nobody seems to know what to do about it. This is despite reports that children have been placed in homes where they were sexually assaulted, abused or possibly trafficked.

Where did they go? Not only that, but the Trump administration has been scouting places on military bases to hold children in internment. Strangely, (or maybe not so strangely) I haven’t heard a peep about this here on ATS, where I would assume the government taking children from their parents and interning them on military bases would be big news. Oh well.

The Trump administration is making preparations to hold immigrant children on military bases, according to Defense Department communications, the latest sign the government is moving forward with plans to split up families who cross the border illegally.

These are the same people who try and justify Trump's connections with Epstein, no amount of logic will get through to them lol.

I respect your efforts though.

Danica Patrick crashed in the Indy 500...Trump must've been behind that incident. Seriously, all these accusations are coming fast and furious. Now,Trump's belief in "spygate" is a "diversion tactic." A diversion tactic from what...the Stormy Daniels fiasco being headed by a shady lawyer, who's been the darling of the Liberal news outlets? Or, perhaps it's a diversion from Trump's collusion with the Russians. Yep and don't forget Trump pardoning the late heavyweight fighter, Jack Johnson, was also a "diversion tactic." No one gives the guy credit for anything. What other bull crap will the Left come up with next? The country is soooo sick of all this made up drama, yet the Democrats are confident in 2020. Give me a f'kin break!

Republican U.S. Senator Jeff Flake, who has not ruled out running against Donald Trump for the White House, on Sunday criticized as a “diversion tactic” the president’s unsubstantiated allegation last week of an FBI “spy” being planted in his election campaign.

So I take it you are against the Trump administration doing this, because in the article you linked it says this:

“I especially hope the passage of my amendment sends a message to the Obama Administration that they should not bring these children to Navy airfields in Baldwin County. Doing so would put the children at risk while also compromising military readiness,” Byrne said in a press release.

Do you think this is a bad thing? Or do you agree with Obama and Trump? Or did you not bother to read the entire article you just linked?

I think these children being over here in the first place is a bad thing. I'm in no position to say whether or not they would be "at risk" by being on a military base. I doubt that things are any better for these children in any other detention facility that we keep them in until we can figure out how to send them back to their home countries, which I hope, is what we are doing.

The tweet has no context but is actually about missing children that was a non issue for them when it was Obama but is now something to bash Trump with.

No they didn’t.

But hey, if you keep telling the same lie over and over, the masses might just believe it to be true eventually

Some people also seem to forget that many of these "children" are being sent over here without their parents or adult supervision (outside of coyote traffickers) to begin with. I don't know why they are trying to make it sound like the Trump administration is the one separating them.

This was dated February 2017...

Nearly 60,000 children came across the border without their parents during the fiscal year ending in September, according to the Administration for Children and Families. Thousands landed in Illinois, where 2,300 kids last year were placed by the agency in juvenile detention centers, called shelters, as they awaited a decision on whether they'd be released to relatives in the U.S., remain in detention or be deported.

So, obviously you don’t see this as tit for tat huh?

Yeah pretty low, but the right wing nut jobs have absolutely no ground to stand on here...you can’t cant go and make a multitude of unfounded accusations against one side (comet pizza anybody?) and then get all upset when the same happens to your side.

I love when people use that set of terms wrong. Was it intentional?

Laughing at the desperate absurdity of trying to bring down Trump isn't making the Right into 'triggered snowflakes.'

It's the behavior of a 'snowflake' that is 'triggering' laughter and ridicule.
