I have noticed that Trump is trying to undo everything Obama did even to the detriment of the environment or the health and well being of people living on this Earth.

Tell us how you really feel. So tired of all of these anti Trump threads around here. The man could unite the Jews and the Arabs on one day, cure cancer the next, and they would still be screaming for impeachment on the day after.

Ah,
Well this is just the natural progression of twisted leftist logic.

If you don't support handing over all your money in taxes to support the alarmist global warming schemes then you're obviously racist.

What money and taxes though? We've been hearing about Global warming since the 80s and they never raised or taxes...in 38 years! LOL

That's complete BS and you know it. Check out this site.

www.carbontax.org...

I don't know that. I mean taxes are going up all the time, always new taxes and always going up for this reason or that reason. You would have a hard time convincing me that a new gas tax is a sneaky carbon tax related to global warming and not a scheme to get money for infrastructure. There is no carbon tax not yet.

Let alone that we, the supposed richest nation on Earth, are over $21 Trillion in debt and going up by the second.

According to their research Whites and Blacks viewed Climate Change as being real at about the same percentage in 2008 however, the views of Whites changed dramatically after Obama came into office and tried to make changes to the coal and oil industries in order to better serve the environment.

That's the biggest bunch of BS I've ever read.

Views on climate change don't have anything to do with racial resentment.

Now, there's always the possibility that people won't support certain regulations that would destroy their livelihoods.

Maybe it is bs but the numbers don't lie. What I want to know is why White viewpoints changed concerning Global Warming after Obama came into power..?

I find it interesting that it has to be white people blocked out the ‘knowledge’ being dropped by a Blackman.

It couldn’t be the black people blindley follow ‘knkwledge’ being dropped by a black man?

Or it could be both.

I would like to see a political breakdown. I would argue that if the numbers of white people who believed in man made evil climate issues, would be more on the democratic side of the isle. Would that mean that white democrats racistly stopped believing what they believed due to obama skin color?

did you hear about the Paris climate accord? The one Trump backed us out of? Look into that and see how much money the government was planning to offer to that group. Then think back to where the government get's it's money from. May not be "new" taxes, but it was taxes.

Do you remember the clip of Obama saying something like "under my plan energy prices would necessarily have to double"? That is why!

I consider myself an empiricist.

Anthropogenic climate change is happening and the evidence is overwhelming.

If you don't believe it is happening that is fine and that debate is STILL ALIVE.

It doesn't mean you're racist.

Obama was no savior of the planet. Trump isn't trying to destroy the planet.

I'm generally conservative.

I'm against fossil fuels because I believe we can engineer better machines using better sources of energy.

Framing this discussion in such a way is exactly how you shut ears off to your stupid-ass arguments.

I think more people are educating themselves on the issue of climate change.

That's why it isn't selling.

And frankly, I find the assumption that the position of climate change having a racial bias is insulting.

Also, when you enter into the discussion with the assumption that Obama was trying to save the planet and Trump is trying to destroy it, you've already telegraphed your position and it makes honest debate impossible.

Of course if your only intent was to call everyone who doesn't believe in man-made climate change "racist" and to call Trump a destroyer of the planet then I think you've done an outstanding job!

I'm not calling anyone racist. I do find it interesting that the relationship between whites and blacks who believe in global warming changed after O came into office.

This is a play on statistics. Basically, if you don't agree with our position on climate change then you are a racist. How to close down discussion, eh?

I never said anyone is racist. The article points to racism as the most likely cause but not the only cause. I think the cause is financial, spearheaded by the fossil fuel industry.

Sorry, but "Thinkprogress" as a source?

Let me 'splain ya something. OP's premised upon stories written by authors for blatantly biased websites like Thinkprogress are just not very interesting, nor are they very compelling from the standpoint of serious intellectual inquiry. Put another way, Thinkprogress is basically the leftist version of Alex Jones.

How did you miss that? Or does the bias attendant with TP so well conform to your own world view that it just had to be true as far as you were concerned?

No one could possibly prove a link between climate change denial and racial resentment. Its as bogus as trying to link a prefernce to white toilet paper and racial resentment.

What does explain climate change denial and differences before/after Obama is pretty obvious.......economics! Its about jobs and financial security v. unemployment and financal insecurity, plain and simple. Obama used climate change to justify killing whole industries and thousands of jobs.

But of course, it is after all "Thinkprogress" where all problems are to be laid at the feet of racist white people who hate Democrats.

Uh, no.

I agree. It boils down to financials. Some don't see it this way however.

Even accepting for the sake of this discussion that the poll numbers do in fact accurately reflect opinions -- and that's a pretty big "if" -- it still completely ignores the gross manipulation of data and numbers in computer models, and many other such questionable actions by the industry that casts serious doubt on the validity of their claims and projections. And, of course, it doesn't take into account the many many predictions by global warming alarmists that have failed miserably.

Forget racism. The true science just isn't there.

Good point. There's no denying that facts and figures have been manipulated. However, there's also no denying that warming is happening.

And one more thing. I don't know anyone who didn't like Obama because he was half black. People don't like Obama because he is an arrogant, egotistical, socialist prick.

Oddly enough, this is the very reason people like Trump.

Al Gore's carbon credits scam that he tried getting everyone to buy into. The Paris agreement that would have sent billions of US tax dollars to foreign countries, with no requirement that they actually do anything.

The crippling regulations that Obama's EPA was inflicting on businesses, sucking up taxes. They've been at this for a while now.

It's funny. I grew up in a completely mixed neighborhood. I had friends from dozens of cultures, colors, and combinations thereof.

It seems that when anyone decides that they disagree with any agenda from the left, the racist label is immediately stamped on their head.

In the past, this was done to immediately put the other person on edge, they are already labeled and can never even attempt to get out of it. That tactic used to always work.

No longer.

Everyone is wising up to the true agenda and goals and will not cave in.

Could air pollution and racism be hidden causes of breast cancer?

A study published online in Cancer Causes & Control last December showed an association between being born in a state that had enacted pro-segregation Jim Crow laws and increased odds of estrogen receptor–negative breast cancer in Black, but not white, women. Meanwhile, preliminary results from a Medical College of Wisconsin research project found that racial bias in mortgage lending is associated with higher incidences of harder-to-treat forms of breast cancer, including triple-negative breast cancer.
