I'm not a Republican or Democrat and frankly, calling people scum is as much a part of the problem as anything else.

Your side and their side share fully in the blame for the partisan, fabricated divide.

If you agree with everything a politician you support does while in office or disagree with everything they do if they are on the other side, what does that say?

The kicker is he dropped a total embargo in sales of US suppliers to ZTE. But they also raised the fines, and took steps to ensure the behaviour wouldn't continiee (and kept US companies selling over half a billion dollars in product annually to them).

Isn't that the end game of the embargo? It's accomplishing much the same thing while throwing out a bone to the Chinese economy and our domestic manufacturers. Finding a win-win is what it's supposed to be about, right?

I've also seen multiple reports that it is part of a larger framework regarding trade and IP rights. So the new deal also seemingly let's us make headway in other areas. Sooo, what does the complete embargo accomplish that this doesn't? The collapse of a large Chinese company? That's the new end goal? Cutting of our nose to spite our face? That's less likely to trigger a trade war than this? Really?

Yep!

Anyone who is in sales and successful will agree, the only successful relationship that will assure repeat sales is when those negotiating the sale feels it is a win/win scenario!

Don't beat yourself up too much try to explain this to those who support Socialism and hate Capitalism.

Yeah and what a shame all that ZTE profit money is going to the U.S. Treasury !!

I wonder if that ever happened before?

It's downright outrageous !!

You and 90% of the forum Blaine, yet we're flooded with highly flagged and starred pro-Trump threads.

Goes back to my point, it's really telling to me that many of Trump's own supporters won't front up. Why is that?

Front up to what???

Sounds like you are in need of some help? I hope you find the help you need, because you truly are coming across unhinged.......

One the most telling things about the Trump president is the number of his supporters who are reluctant to admit they support him. I wonder why that is?

It's because of the hysteria from people like you. Look in the mirror. You see the orange menace because he is something of a douche. Everything he does must be opposed because he's evil. Like Hitler and the Nazis. #resist!

While the rest of us say, "yep, he's a narcissistic douche", but don't proceed to build our perspective of his every action around that making a house of cards from mass hysteria.

So when he does something/anything, I don't reflexively say, "Trump is a douche, so this must be bad". I'll make a judgement each time on the basis of thwt action/decision. I don't reflexively support or hate every decision. That sort of nonsense is what drove the great middle of the country to say, "wait, he's not getting a fair shake, even if he is something of a douche".

That's why the support is tepid. It's actually the exact opposite of a "cult" or "mania" for many. His flaws are already apparent. You don't need to invent them everyday (mein Gott, he had TWO scoops of ice cream! " Your utter lack of self-awareness and constant contradictions are going to cost the left the midterms they historically would take.

Willful ignorance?

Failure to read?

3 pages of explanation and points that you refuse to acknowledge would make for a case of some sort of operator error.

No wonder people have left in droves.

Talk about diving off the deep end.

You even invoked Christian numerology to scare people.

Remember when Obama was the antichrist?

What's wrong with admitting you support Trump when you spend all your time defending him? You know the answer JinMI, just like you know there's no justification for Trump to make this deal. You haven't once in all your responses given a reason as to why there's nothing wrong with this deal. At least Blaine tried to justify and defend this deal. At least.

I do and am supporting Trump. My point was how far off the deep end your 'team' goes to bring in the likes of the middle and even other Democrats to support Trump in the face of these threads.

The source is BS.
The argument is BS.

You got called on it because you posted it.

You haven't once in all your responses given a reason as to why there's nothing wrong with this deal.

That would be an outright lie. Proof is in the pages in this thread.

Another response and you still haven't justified this deal Trump made with this Chinese Communications company. Seriously, you can keep on ignoring this but you have nothing.

All you have to do is read the previous pages.

However, I'll say it again. The justification is no trade war and no embargo.

If you're implying I'm being disingenuous about my moderate stance, you would be wrong. Even though I object to Bill Clinton's lack of ethics, I rank his presidency as equal to that of Ronald Reagan. I would without hesitation vote for a Democrat if I thought they were best for the country and I voted against Trump and Hillary too for that matter. Both losers in my book.

Is it possible you are so caught up in the hate fest, you can't imagine someone who judges issue by issue?

Let me ask you, do you always tow the party line or do you think for yourself?

This thread is just another hit piece with no substance.

Funny mate ... how every thing you comment on has to do solely with money.

Get real, the more money one has, the harder it is to bribe.

Do you really think that the President would risk all in taking bribes that to him as a billionaire would be loose change.

Says more about you and your support team. The only measuring stick you have is $$$$$$$$.

People with morals have different measuring sticks.

What are the intricacies of the deal that Trump made? Do you know, does the media know? NO! You have gone bat snip crazy over a deal that you nor I nor the MSM deep state muppets reporting on it know...

But yet here you are using unconfirmed and information with nothing to back it up to bash anyone who doesn't kneel at the alter of the church of politics you attend faithfully????
