Yes, Trump can command DOJ/FBI/etc

The separation of powers we frequently hear about only pertain to our three branches of government. Since "DOJ" "Special Counsel" and "FBI" are not branches of government (ie: Executive, Legislative, Judicial) it does not apply.

In fact, POTUS is in charge of enforcing the laws the Legislative branch drafts. As part of that duty, he (his authority) creates a vast network of federal agencies and other appointed positions.

Here is a helpful chart, when considering who/what President Trump can directly command/fire/etc.

Thumb:

Trump can flush this conspiracy down the toilet at any point he's ready.

As promised, very happy to see Trump bringing the power of the Presidency to bare against this conspiracy.

Yet another promise kept, it would seem.

I believe Trump can declassify, and order the release of any documents that congress has asked for.

If true, what is he waiting for? Is he playing a "long game", or is he afraid of what might come out?

So your head of state has absolute control over your justice system is that what you’re saying???

That makes him above the law then...

No wonder you need those guns then.

Trump does not want to order it, he prefers the public will demand it. Or the insiders coming forward.

But if necessary he will order it.

I don’t think it’s quite absolute control... But the DOJ is executive branch, isn’t it? (I could be wrong, and if I am, I won’t edit this. I’ll admit it.)

Yes, that’s part of why we need guns.

1) No, the DoJ is not the "justice system".
2) No, he is not above the law - see 1.
3) Presidential power is not the reason for the 2nd amendment.

So the OP is wrong then?

Because if POTUS has the power to block any investigations that impact him or her then they are above the law

Ohhh look it’s the American.....I mean British guy again.....who gets triggered any time I so much fart.

Dude I know all that.

The point stands, if your POTUS can block investigations into himself then he is above the
Law.

But now that I think of it, I see you said “Justice System.”
So I concede, no, he should not, but I wouldn’t say he does...
The other branches control parts of the justice system.
Technicalities... shrug.

Congress can impeach the President and remove him from office. An impeachment vote in the house becomes a trial, with Senators acting as the jury and selected members of Congress as the prosecutors. The Chief Justice oversees.

So, no. The president is not above the law. He can be brought to trial, just not in the traditional sense.

He does, however, have the power to direct the DoJ - which as stated is not the "justice system" in the USA.

Yep. I responded wrongly... I also must’ve skipped over the “above the law” part... I don’t think the Prez should be above the law... misuse of power and/or tyrannical gov is part of the reason.

No, he is not above the law - so clearly you have some way to go before you 'know all that'.
You have so little knowledge of most of the things you post on, I would actually agree with you and classify your posts as farts.

There are checks and balances in our system, and the final check of the US government lays in the hands of American civilians, just as it was designed to.

No the Obama Administration ended.

The Executive Branch is doing things the legal way now.

Just too many implants and left-overs still interfering and colluding.

The OP is right.

Congress can use impeachment and Senate Trial to overcome abuses of Executive power.

Obama was/is one of the biggest criminals in American history.

As for the UK.... Whenever we have visitors from the UK, the first thing they ask is " Can I shoot your guns"?..... I always tell them " No! go have another cup of tea and a crumpet"!
