I watched it online. Personally, I think it was a classy blend of relaxed Southern Baptist American and stiff, stuffy British styles. It was nicely done & felt warm & inviting (from my POV as a viewer) instead of rigid & boooooring like I found Will & Kate's.

Oh, I found the bishop and gospel singing awkward. I’m british so it was strange for me, all good though . I no longer live in Britain n so perhaps I'm deluded and think they’re not with the times and Im stuck in the time warp I left behind.

This little light of mine just didn’t seem to fit as they came out of the chapel. I know, I’m a stuffy British person. We say rude things.

PS .I never sang God save the Queen when I lived there. I pretended to sing along. Perhaps she was as well. I used to ask myself why are we saving HER? It seems so selfish to be all about her. Shouldn’t we save everyone?

Oh well

It was a nice ceremony.

I reckon their first born will happen in the states so 'natural born citizen' can be US president in 40 or so years...resistance is futile...

For the british economy , i mean.

The buildings , soldiers in funny uniforms and history are good for the economy as that's what people come here for , how much more profitable would a fully open Buckingham palace with all it's treasures on display be.

As one of the people who pay to keep them in the luxury they've become accustomed too I'd happily see my money spent elsewhere.

I watched as well... and loved the simple elegance of her dress and minimal jewelry. Even my husband commented on the lack of jewelry and frills. I told him, "That's confidence!"

And the preacher from the USA was awesome. Loved him!!!

I wish them every happiness and joy in life. Congrats Harry and Meghan!!!
