So click bait title I know, I'm following on from my Cats, the next best thing to having a
dog thread.
I called at my best mates yesterday, and his house is one I just walk in if the door is not locked, but his dog was frantic when I arrived, animated
in a way she is not usually, drawing me to the room where my mate was laying on the floor unconscious. I of course tended to my mate in between her
licking his face like he was an ice-cream lol, he came round, turns out he tripped, knocked himself out, check at hospital, he's okay.
My main point in this is the dog was all over him, she knew he needed help, she actually looked relieved when I got there "another human yay!" if
you can interpret 'relief' in a dogs eyes I saw it yesterday.
My cat wouldn't give a toss if I fell...would probably start eating me after a day or two lol, dogs rock compared to cats!
I get ya!
Honestly, my mates dog was so 'worried' if you know what I mean, she wanted help for her pack leader, and I genuinely saw relief in her eyes when I
arrived.
Dogs rock!

I agree, from the first dog who warned a human about wolves and got a share of the meat.
Honestly, I saw distress in my mates dog's eyes, she wanted me to fix something she couldn't. Fantastic symbiotic relationship.
I have one of both. Cats and Dogs are so totally different, there just is no comparison. It depends on how I am feeling at any point in time as to
which one "is better". Cats are badass, loving, aloof, loners that can take care of themselves. Dogs are protective, human-centered, loving beasts
that have to be taken care of.
